On Google for Work's Cloud Platform team, we help customers around the globe build applications on the same world-class technical infrastructure that powers everything from AdWords to YouTube. Whether working with aspiring startups or Fortune 500 companies, our technical sales experts make it their mission to free our customers from the hassle of dealing with infrastructure so they can focus on what they really care about: building and delivering their products.

Here’s the good part—We’re hiring! These aren’t your average sales roles, though. We’re looking for enthusiastic folks who are passionate about finding meaningful technology solutions to our customers’ needs. As a Sales Specialist, you’ll handle key strategic accounts in a variety of industries throughout North America. Working closely with customers, you’ll share with them the advantages of using virtual machines like Compute Engine, enchant them with the scalability of platform-as-a-service offerings like App Engine, and empower them with the versatility of big data solutions like BigQuery.

To be a successful candidate, some technical aptitude is crucial. Experience with programming, software development or IT sales would be valuable, as would familiarity with the public cloud market. We rely on data to drive our strategic decision-making process, so comfort working with numbers is also key. Cloud Platform is doing big things, and each of these roles has the opportunity to have a big impact on our customers. From supporting local businesses to partnering with global enterprises, we’re helping our customers run like Google.
