Win the right customers
When Austin Java wanted to bring the right customers to their newest location, they created a Google Offer aimed squarely at Austin's coffee lovers. Google Offers helped bring paying customers to their doorstep.
“That kind of buzz is the best way to bring new customers in the door.”

Reaching the right people
Although Austin Java is a beloved institution, Casey Warnick was eager to have the right people discover Austin Java for the first time. And with thousands of fans on Twitter, Facebook, and Foursquare, Casey wanted to give returning customers a great reason to come back. “Our thought was that this would be a great way to reward our fans and hopefully get them to spread the word to people who haven’t heard of us.”
Structuring the perfect offer
Austin Java featured $10 worth of coffee, brunch, and café fare for $5. The Google Offers team worked closely with Casey to develop the right offer terms for the business. “When we sat down with our sales rep, it was clear that he was only concerned with what was best for us.”
Sales meets social buzz
In addition to selling more than 400 offers, Casey also achieved her goal of encouraging loyal customers to share their experiences with friends. “We’ve had so much positive feedback. We received a great Tweet from a follower who told us he’s already been back to Austin Java four times since redeeming his offer. That kind of buzz is the best way to bring new customers in the door,” says Casey. “Google Offers works. I’d like to try another offer during our slower period to help boost traffic into the stores. And there’s no question it helps increase exposure on all our social platforms.
