Abstract

In an electrophotographic printing apparatus according this invention, at the start of rotation of the photosensitive drum, after the time required for a particular point on the drum to move from the charging position under the charging device to the developing position under the development device has elapsed since the charging device was set in operation, the sleeve driving system is caused to start rotating the development sleeve.
