Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de comprimer un gaz à l'aide d'énergie thermique. Dans une version subsonique, le gaz réchauffé traverse une tuyère convergente "C1" où il est mis en vitesse, une tuyère convergente "C2" où il est simultanément maintenu à vitesse élevée et refroidi par évaporation de liquide pulvérisé par des buses "R" de position réglable réparties dans "C2". Dans une version supersonique, le gaz atteint une vites se sonique au col de "C2" et supersonique dans un divergent "DG", puis est comprimé dans un convergent "CG1" et simultanément refroidi par évaporation de liquide pulvérisé. Dans les deux versions, le gaz est enfin comprimé dans un divergent subsonique "DG1". Des tuyères à géométrie variable permettent de modifier les sections des cols du dispositif. Le dispositif est essentiellement destiné aux centrales thermo-électriques.
