技术领域
本发明提供了一种用于通过与通信网络的相互作用,使用移动站(MS)来得到信息的方法和装置。
背景技术
在移动通信系统内,以相对精确度正确定位移动站的地理位置通常是理想的。这种精确的位置信息可被用于多种目的,例如向迷路或试图避免道路拥塞的移动站的系统用户提供指示、将系统用户指向附近的业务提供商(例如以得到汽油、汽车修理)、得到关于位置或最接近移动站的对象的信息等。若干种用于得到移动站的一般位置的技术已为人所知。例如,可能会使用已知的SoLSA技术内所使用的位置服务区(LSA)识别技术来确定一般位置。LSA是对应于特定移动网络小区的小区覆盖区的位置服务区,MS通过所述移动网络小区通信。其它位置确定技术在WO-9205672、美国专利NO.5,128,925、WO-9727711、EP 0930513A2以及WO-9819479内讨论。

具体实施方式

Claims (29)

1.一种得到移动站的地理位置的方法,包括步骤:
得到最接近所述移动站的地理位置的数字图像;
将所述数字图像从所述移动站无线传送到移动通信网络;
通过所述移动通信网络连接计算机网络;
从所述移动通信网络得到所述移动站的一般位置标识符;
根据所述数字图像构造对应于所述数字图像的数据模式,以及
在对应于所述数字图像的所述数据模式与预存储数据的预存储数据模式之间映射的最低门限被满足的情况下,将所述一般位置标识符和对应于所述数字图像的所述数据模式与可通过所述计算机网络存取的预存储的数据相比较,以确定移动站的地理位置。
2.根据权利要求1的方法,还包括将所述数字图像转换成二进制文本格式,其中对应于所述数字图像的所述数据模式包括所述二进制文本格式。

11.根据权利要求1的方法,还包括步骤:
利用已识别的地理位置来识别业务提供商的位置,以响应移动通信系统传送到所述计算机网络的询问,并将已识别的业务提供商位置信息传送到所述移动站。
12.根据权利要求11的方法,其中所述业务提供商的位置信息对应于参与奖励计划的业务提供商,这样属于奖励计划成员的移动站的使用者可以向所述业务提供商要求得到奖励点并且兑换奖励点。
13.一种用于得到移动站的地理位置的装置,包括:
能够与所述移动站接口的数字摄像机,用于得到最接近移动站的地理区的数字图像并且将所述数字图像传送到所述移动站;
用于从所述移动站接收数字图像的移动通信网络,所述网络具有用于确定所述移动站的一般位置标识符的装置;
与所述移动通信网络通信的计算机网络,用于从所述移动通信网络接收所述数字图像以及所述移动站的一般位置标识符;
存取所存储的地理位置数据库的位置服务器;
根据所述数字图像构造对应于所述数字图像的数据模式的装置;以及
在对应于所述数字图像的所述数据模式与预存储的地理位置数据的预存储数据模式之间映射的最低门限被满足的情况下,将对应于所述数字图像的所述数据模式和所述一般位置标识符与预存储的地理位置数据相比较,以确定移动站的地理位置的装置。
14.根据权利要求13的装置,还包括与所述计算机网络通信的、用于将所述数字图像转换为文本数据的转换器。
15.根据权利要求13的装置,其中所述移动站是与所述数字摄像机形成一个整体的移动电话。
16.根据权利要求13的装置,其中所述移动通信网络包括通用分组无线电业务(GPRS)。
17.根据权利要求13的装置,其中所述全球通信网络包括全球移动通信系统(GSM)。
18.根据权利要求17的装置,其中所述一般位置识别符包括与所述移动站通信的基站的位置区身份(LAI)。
19.根据权利要求13的装置,还包括与所述计算机网络通信的业务提供商数据库,用于基于已识别的移动站的地理位置来识别业务提供商位置。
20.根据权利要求13的装置,还包括用于将识别的地理位置和识别的业务提供商位置传送到所述移动站的装置。
21.根据权利要求19的装置,还包括用于将识别的地理位置传送到所述移动站的装置。
22.根据权利要求21的装置,还包括用于识别对应于参与奖励计划的业务提供商的业务提供商的位置,以使得属于所述奖励计划成员的移动站的用户可以向业务提供商要求得到奖励点和兑换奖励点的装置。
23.根据权利要求13的装置,其中所述数字摄像机包括用于将所述数字图像无线传送到所述移动站的装置。
24.一种使用移动站得到信息的方法,包括步骤:
得到最接近移动站的对象的数字图像;
将所述数字图像从所述移动站无线传送到移动通信网络;
通过所述移动通信网络连接计算机网络;
分析被传送的数据图像以得到所需的信息;以及
将得到的所需的信息传送到所述移动站。
25.根据权利要求24的方法,其中所述移动站是移动电话。
26.根据权利要求24的方法,其中所述计算机网络是因特网。
27.根据权利要求24的方法,其中所述对象包括文本符号,而其中被传送的得到的信息包括文本符号的翻译和发音。
28.根据权利要求24的方法,其中被传送的得到的信息包括与所述对象有关的信息。
29.根据权利要求24的方法,其中所述对象是人的面部。
