Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及平板电子显示器,且更具体而言,涉及用于平板电子显示装置的安装装置。
背景技术
现代平板电子显示器使其非常合乎消费者需要的一特性是具有带框照片或印刷品的非常平整的装置外观,当挂在墙上时具有美感。这一特性的合意之处还在于显示器所占用的地面及内部空间非常小。
然而,对于现有的平板显示器技术,通常是当相对于屏幕平面以尽可能接近九十度的角度观看屏幕时才能获得最佳的观看质量。观察角度越倾斜,液晶显示器常常将会感觉到表现得越暗。在其他情形中,尤其是对于等离子体显示器,屏幕表面的眩光可削弱观看效果。因此,期望能够对显示器进行选择性定位,以获得最佳的观看质量。
目前已开发出各种用于平板显示器的墙壁安装装置,以实现显示器的倾斜定位及/或摆动定位。这些安装装置的实例揭露于例如美国专利第6,905,101号、第7,028,961号及第7,152,836号中,所有这些美国专利均由本发明的拥有者所拥有并以引用方式全文并入本文中。
先前的安装座设计的缺点是在定位过程中,显示器的边缘有时可碰到墙面。这些碰撞可在墙面上留下难看的痕迹或凹坑,或者可导致损坏显示器自身。因此,需要一种能对显示器进行选择性定位、同时能减轻与墙壁碰撞的不利影响的平板显示器安装座。
发明内容
本发明即可满足业内对于既能对电子显示器进行选择性定位、同时又能减轻与墙壁碰撞的不利影响的电子显示器安装座的需求。本发明的装置及方法大体包括连接至显示器接口结构的支撑结构以及倾斜头总成。该显示器接口结构附装至电子显示器。该支撑结构包括可伸展臂总成、枢轴柱及摆动限位柱(swingstop post)。该支撑结构可用于将电子装置围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位。该倾斜头总成包括附装构件、可定位的板、及导向结构。该倾斜头总成可用于将电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位。
根据本发明的实施例,该可伸展的臂可选择性地定位于多个位置。该枢轴柱界定可使支撑结构围绕其旋转的实质垂直的轴。该摆动限位柱界定该可伸展臂总成围绕该实质垂直的轴旋转的多个范围。该可伸展臂总成的每一位置均对应于一旋转范围。
根据本发明的另一实施例,第一导向结构及第二导向结构界定电子显示器围绕该实质水平的轴旋转的路径。电子显示器沿该旋转路径在任一点处实质自平衡。
根据本发明的另一实施例,该板可定位于多个位置。每一位置均界定该实质水平轴的一不同位置。
根据本发明的另一实施例,提供一种系统,其包括一电子显示装置、可操作地连接至显示器接口结构的支撑结构以及倾斜头总成。该显示器接口结构附装至该电子显示器。该支撑结构包括可伸展臂总成、枢轴柱及摆动限位柱(swingstop post),并可用于将电子装置围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位。该倾斜头总成包括附装构件、可定位的板、及导向结构。该倾斜头总成可用于将电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位。

具体实施方式
参见图1-5,总体上以参考编号100表示避墙式安装座。安装座100可用于将平板显示器101安装至墙102上。大体上,安装座100包括支撑结构103、倾斜头104、及显示器接口结构106。安装座也可包括墙内盒108。
支撑结构103大体包括可伸展臂总成110、支撑柱总成112及摆动限位凸轮114。可伸展臂总成110大体包括在枢轴120处枢接于一起的墙壁接口116及臂118。横向间隔件122可设于枢轴120处,以在相邻的臂118之间提供横向间隔,从而避免在可伸展臂总成110伸出及回缩时出现扭点(pinch point)及剪切作用。如图14-15所示,可伸展臂总成110能将显示器101选择性地定位于从墙面124向外的任何所需距离处。
容易理解,可伸展臂总成110可包括实际上任意所需数量的臂118,以实现从墙面124向外的所需运动范围。此外,根据本文所揭露的本发明实施例的其他方面,支撑结构103可包括或由用于为倾斜头104提供支撑的任何其他结构组成,例如摆动臂结构或固定的安装托架。而且,支撑结构103可直接附装至墙面124,或者可较佳地与墙内附装结构一起使用,例如在本发明的拥有者于2007年1月5日提出申请的美国临时申请案第60/883,652号“居中的墙内安装座(CENTERINGIN-WALL MOUNT)”中所揭露的墙内附装结构,该美国临时申请案的完整揭露内容以引用方式全文并入本文中。
支撑柱总成112大体包括管状的垂直柱126、上部枢轴套管128、下部枢轴套管130及提升调整总成132。如图19-21所示,上部枢轴套管128大体包括界定有中央孔136的本体部134。凸耳138自本体部134延伸出并界定枢轴孔140。本体部134大体呈圆柱形,其中前缘142的半径小于后缘144,从而界定一对凸肩146、148。
类似地,如图16-18所示的下部枢轴套管130大体包括界定有中央孔152的本体部150。凸耳154自本体部150延伸出并界定枢轴孔156。本体部150大体呈圆柱形,其中前缘158的半径小于后缘160,从而界定一对凸肩162、164。
上部枢轴套管128及下部枢轴套管130被垂直且可旋转地滑动设置于柱126上,其中柱126分别延伸贯穿中央孔136、152。可伸展臂总成110的各个单独的臂118枢装至上部枢轴套管128及下部枢轴套管130中每一者的凸耳138、154,其中枢轴166延伸入枢轴孔140、156中。
如图26所示,提升调整总成132大体包括本体168、附装紧固件170、及提升螺钉172。本体168利用附装紧固件170靠近柱126的上端174附装。提升螺钉172以螺合方式容置于本体168中并在下端178包括垫板(bearing plate)176。可在上端182上设置把手180,以便能够用手指将提升螺钉172容易地旋入及旋出本体168。
在使用中,垫板176滑动地承载于上部枢轴套管128的上表面184上,从而将上部枢轴套管128垂直地定位于柱126上。通过将提升螺钉172旋入或旋出本体168,可选择性地调整上部枢轴套管128的相对垂直位置,从而相对于柱126降低或升高上部枢轴套管128。当可伸展臂总成110伸出及回缩时,上部枢轴套管128保持于定位上,而下部枢轴套管130则在柱126上垂直滑动。
如图22-25所示,摆动限位凸轮114大体包括具有下端188及上端190的细长本体186。下端188的宽度尺寸W大体宽于上端190的宽度尺寸W1。中间部192逐渐缩小,从而呈现出向上倾斜的相对侧翼194。前侧196为凹的,从而顺应于下部枢轴套管130的前缘158的半径。
摆动限位凸轮114如图13所示固定至倾斜头104的内侧198,其中下部枢轴套管130的前缘158与前侧196对齐,如图25所示。柱126沿摆动限位凸轮114的凹的前侧196设置,并相对于前侧196固定于可旋转的垂直位置上。在使用中,在显示器101如图15所示靠近墙面124定位的情况下,下部枢轴套管130相对更靠近柱126的底端200。在该位置上,下部枢轴套管130的凸肩162、164啮合摆动限位凸轮114的下端188的侧面202,从而如图15所示限制显示器101在横向上摆动运动至相对更大的角度,以防止显示器101接触墙面124。
当可伸展臂总成110向外延伸且显示器101远离墙面124定位时,下部枢轴套管130在柱126上向上滑动并相对于在倾斜头104上垂直固定就位的摆动限位凸轮114向上滑动。一旦下部枢轴套管130到达中间部192,各凸肩162、164与倾斜侧翼194之间的更大距离便会使显示器101的横向摆动运动的范围稳定增加。当下部枢轴套管130到达摆动限位凸轮114的上端190时,会达到显示器101的横向摆动运动的整个范围,如图14所示。
应了解,可调整摆动限位凸轮114在倾斜头104上的垂直位置,以改变使下部枢轴套管130开始碰到中间部192及上端190时距墙面124的相对距离。而且,应了解,可根据需要改变摆动限位凸轮114的几何形状,以得到所需的摆动限位特性。例如,可将摆动限位凸轮114制作得相对更长且具有更平缓的倾斜侧翼194,以便根据距离而更缓慢地限制摆动运动。在另一实例中,相对的侧翼194可设置有不同的斜度,以使摆动运动在一个方向上的范围大于在相反方向上的范围。
倾斜头104一般附装于支撑结构103与显示器接口结构106中间。在第一实例性实施例中,倾斜头104大体包括内轭204、前倾凸轮206、及前倾构件208,如图8-11所示。在第二实例性实施例中,倾斜头104大体包括本体部210、一对内侧前倾臂212、一对外侧前倾臂214、及显示器接口总成216,如图27-32所示。
参见图8-11所示的倾斜头104的第一实例性实施例,内轭204大体包括底板218,底板218界定横向定向的开孔220并具有平行的凸缘222、224。每一凸缘222、224均界定直立的导向结构226、第一长方孔228及第二长方孔230,这些导向结构226、第一长方孔228及第二长方孔230跨倾斜头104横向对齐。
每一前倾凸轮206均界定导向结构232及一对孔234、236,其中导向结构232可呈细长狭槽的形式。前倾凸轮206被紧固于每一凸缘222、224的外表面238,其中孔234与长方孔228对齐且孔236与长方孔230对齐。滑柱(图未显示)延伸贯穿各对对齐的孔228、234及230、236中的每一者。滑柱可在长方孔228、230中滑动,以使前倾凸轮206可相对于内轭204选择性地定位,如图10所示。

如图13所示,显示器接口结构106大体包括垂直的立柱(uprights)252、254、水平拉条256、258、中央加强板260、及角撑板262、264。垂直的立柱252、254利用紧固件268紧固至显示器101的背面266。水平拉条256、258则紧固至垂直立柱252、254并与角撑板262、264相耦合。中央加强板260延伸于水平拉条256、258之间并紧固至水平拉条256、258。前倾构件208啮合并紧固至水平拉条256、258。
在使用中,如图12所示,通过抓握显示器101的顶缘270并向外拉动,显示器101可围绕大体水平的倾斜轴倾斜。当显示器101倾斜时,随动件248在导向结构232中滑动,且随动件250在导向结构226中滑动,以引导并界定显示器101的倾斜行进路径。应注意,当显示器101向前倾斜时,底缘272与墙面124保持实质相同的距离。因此,甚至当可伸展臂总成110回缩而使显示器101的位置紧邻墙面124时,显示器101也不会在倾斜运动中的任一点处接触墙面124。
还如图12所示,倾斜头104的另一可取特征在于导向结构226及导向结构232可被定向成能界定围绕倾斜轴的行进路径,该倾斜轴大体位于显示器101的前下方,从而使重心274沿实质水平的轴198平移,且显示器101实质“自平衡”。意即,无需由辅助摩擦源固定,显示器101便可保持所需的倾斜位置。
应了解,可对前倾凸轮206的位置加以调整,以改变显示器101的倾斜轴的位置以及在倾斜时重心的平移路径。此外,应了解,可对导向结构226、232的形状加以修改,以使显示器101的倾斜运动具有所需的效果。例如,导向结构226、232可如图所示实质为直的,或者其中之一或二者可为弯曲的、有角的或呈任何其他所需形状。尽管在图中被绘示为狭槽,导向结构226、232自身亦可为任何其他能够对随动件进行导向的适当结构,例如沟槽、槽、凸轮面等等。
参见图27-32所示的倾斜头104的第二实例性实施例,本体部210大体包括具有一对突出的立柱278、280的轭部276。轭部276界定中央孔282,中央孔282靠近底端284的一部分可带有螺纹以容置螺纹耦合件286。每一立柱278、280均界定在横向上朝外的导轨288。滑块290滑动地设置于每一导轨288中,如图40所示。滑块290界定孔292。每一立柱278、280均在靠近顶端296处界定贯穿的孔294。
内侧前倾臂212是细长的,具有相对的端部298、300,并界定分别靠近端部298、300的孔302、304。内侧前倾臂212更在端部298、300中间界定孔306。
外侧前倾臂214也是细长的,具有相对的端部308、310,并界定分别靠近端部308、310的孔312、314。余隙凹口(clearance notch)316靠近孔320界定于横向边缘318中。
显示器接口总成216大体包括接口板322、第一安装板324及第二安装板326。接口板322包括显示器附装部328及突出的平行凸缘330、332。显示器附装部328界定孔334及细长孔336,以利用扣件(图未显示)附装第一及第二安装板324、326与显示器101。每一凸缘330、332均界定细长的导向狭槽338及枢轴孔340。
每一内侧前倾臂212均利用贯穿过孔294的枢销342枢接至立柱278、280中的一个。每一内侧前倾臂212的另一端通过可在细长导向狭槽338中滑动的枢轴344与接口板322相耦合。每一外侧前倾臂214均通过贯穿过孔292的枢轴346而枢接至滑块290。每一外侧前倾臂214的另一端则通过贯穿过孔312、314、340的枢销348而枢接至接口板322。凹口316使得当安装座100被定位于直立位置时,外侧前倾臂214能与枢轴344保持间隙,如图27所示。
在使用中,显示器101可首先被置于大体垂直的直立位置,如图27所示。下部拐角350设置于距容置有轭部276的可伸展臂总成110的直立柱352一距离D处。显示器101的重心C.G.沿大体水平的轴A-A设置,该水平轴A-A位于轭部276的底端284上方一距离X处。
用户可通过抓握并拉动显示器101的顶缘270,如图28所示使显示器101选择性地向前倾斜。当用户拉动时,每一内侧前倾臂212均围绕枢轴344、346枢转,且枢轴344在细长导向狭槽338中滑动。同时,每一外侧前倾臂214均围绕枢轴346枢转,其中每一滑块290均在导轨288中向上滑动。较佳地,显示器101的重心C.G.实质沿轴A-A平移,轴A-A保持于轭部276的底端284上方一距离X处,而下部拐角350则实质保持于距直立柱352相同的距离D处。其效果是使显示器101实质上自平衡,能够在图27所示的直立位置与图28所示的完全倾斜位置之间保持任何所需的倾斜位置,而无须在安装座100的任何组件之间增加显著的附加摩擦。此外,在显示器101倾斜时,显示器101的下部拐角350保持距墙壁总成一实质恒定的距离,从而甚至当安装座100如图44所示完全回缩时也可消除显示器101撞击墙壁总成354的问题。
在图30-31所示的实施例中,安装座100另外包括摩擦元件356,摩擦元件356可包括螺栓358,螺栓358延伸贯穿在内侧前倾臂212中所界定的孔和在外侧前倾臂214中所界定的孔360。摩擦垫圈362贴靠外侧前倾臂214的外表面364并通过螺母366被固定就位。凹口368界定于每一平行凸缘330、332中,以与摩擦元件356保持间隙。
在使用中,如果需要,可通过旋紧螺母366来选择性地增加摩擦,以保持所需的倾斜位置。反之,可通过旋松螺母366来去除摩擦,以更自由地对安装座100进行定位。

Claims (25)
1.一种用于将电子显示器安装至实质垂直定向的表面上的装置,所述装置包括:
显示器接口结构,其可安装至所述电子显示器;
支撑结构,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位,所述支撑结构包括:可伸展臂总成,其可选择性地定位于多个位置;枢轴柱,其界定所述实质垂直的轴;以及摆动限位柱,其界定所述可伸展臂总成围绕所述实质垂直的轴旋转的多个范围,所述可伸展臂总成的每一位置均对应于一旋转范围;以及
倾斜头总成,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位,所述倾斜头总成包括附装构件;
其中所述支撑结构可操作地连接至所述显示器接口结构及所述附装构件。
2.如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述支撑结构包括上部套管及下部套管,所述上部套管及所述下部套管可操作地附装至所述可伸展臂总成并可枢转地连接至所述枢轴柱。
3.如权利要求2所述的装置,其特征在于伸展所述可伸展臂总成会使所述下部套管或所述上部套管沿所述枢轴柱滑动。
4.如权利要求2所述的装置,其特征在于所述上部套管及所述下部套管适于啮合所述摆动限位柱,并从而阻止所述可伸展臂总成围绕所述枢轴柱旋转。
5.如权利要求1所述的装置,其特征在于所述摆动限位柱包括细长的本体,所述细长的本体具有上端、下端、及位于所述上端与所述下端中间的多个宽度,所述多个宽度界定所述可伸展臂总成的多个旋转范围。
6.如权利要求5所述的装置,其特征在于所述摆动限位柱的细长的本体适于在所述可伸展臂总成围绕所述实质垂直的轴旋转时,实质防止所述电子显示器接触所述实质垂直定向的表面。
7.如权利要求5所述的装置,其特征在于所述细长的本体的每一宽度大体从所述顶端向所述底端增大。
8.如权利要求5所述的装置,其特征在于所述细长的本体的每一宽度大体从所述顶端向所述底端减小。
9.一种用于将电子显示器安装至实质垂直定向的表面的装置,所述装置包括:
显示器接口结构;
支撑结构,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位;以及
倾斜头总成,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位,所述倾斜头总成包括附装构件以及第一和第二导向结构,所述附装构件可操作地连接至所述支撑结构,且所述第一导向结构及所述第二导向结构界定所述电子显示器围绕所述实质水平的轴旋转的路径;
其中所述电子显示器沿所述旋转路径在任一点处实质自平衡,且所述支撑结构可操作地连接至所述显示器接口结构及所述附装构件。
10.如权利要求9所述的装置,其特征在于所述电子显示器具有顶缘及底缘,所述电子显示器围绕所述实质水平的轴的旋转路径在所述电子显示器的所述底缘与所述实质垂直定向的表面之间界定多个距离,且所述第一导向结构及所述第二导向结构适于使所述多个距离实质相似。
11.如权利要求11所述的装置,其特征在于所述顶缘可旋转经过至少约三十度。
12.如权利要求9所述的装置,其特征在于在所述电子显示器围绕所述实质水平的轴旋转时,所述第一导向结构及所述第二导向结构实质防止所述电子显示器接触所述实质垂直定向的表面。
13.如权利要求9所述的装置,其特征在于所述电子显示器界定一重心,所述第一导向结构及所述第二导向结构适于在所述电子显示器旋转经过所述旋转路径时,使所述重心沿实质水平的直线路径行进。
14.如权利要求9所述的装置,其特征在于所述第一导向结构及所述第二导向结构包括细长的狭槽。
15.如权利要求9所述的装置,其特征在于所述倾斜头总成进一步包括用于稳定所述电子显示器的摩擦元件。
16.一种用于将电子显示器安装至实质垂直定向的表面的装置,所述装置包括:
显示器接口结构;
支撑结构,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位;以及
倾斜头总成,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位,所述倾斜头总成包括可定位于多个位置的板以及可操作地连接至所述支撑结构的附装构件,所述板的每一位置均界定所述实质水平的轴的一位置;
其中所述支撑结构可操作地连接至所述显示器接口结构及所述附装构件。
17.如权利要求16所述的装置,其特征在于所述电子显示器界定一重心,所述板可定位成使得在所述电子显示器围绕所述实质水平的轴可旋转地定位时,所述重心沿实质水平的直线路径行进。
18.如权利要求16所述的装置,其特征在于所述板可沿实质垂直的直线路径定位。
19.如权利要求16所述的装置,其特征在于所述板可定位成使所述电子显示器占据实质垂直定向的位置。
20.一种安装系统,包括:
电子显示器;
显示器接口结构;
支撑结构,其用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位,所述显示器接口包括:可伸展臂总成,其可选择性地定位于多个位置;枢轴柱,其界定所述实质垂直的轴;以及摆动限位柱,其界定所述可伸展臂总成围绕所述实质垂直的轴旋转的多个范围,所述可伸展臂总成的每一位置均对应于一旋转范围;以及
倾斜头总成,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位,所述倾斜头总成包括:附装构件,其可操作地连接至所述支撑结构;第一和第二导向结构,其界定所述电子显示器围绕所述实质水平的轴旋转的路径;以及可定位于多个位置的板,所述板的每一位置均界定所述实质水平的轴的一位置;
其中所述电子显示器沿所述旋转路径在任一点处实质自平衡,且所述支撑结构可操作地连接至所述显示器接口结构及所述附装构件。
21.一种用于使用安装装置对安装至实质垂直定向的表面的电子显示器进行定位的方法,所述安装装置包括可操作地连接至显示器接口结构的支撑结构以及倾斜头总成,所述方法包括:
将所述支撑结构伸展至第一伸展位置;
在由所述第一伸展位置所界定的旋转范围内,围绕实质垂直的轴旋转所述电子显示器;
对所述倾斜头总成进行定位;以及
围绕实质水平的轴将所述电子显示器旋转至第一倾斜位置;
其中所述电子显示器在所述第一倾斜位置是自平衡的。
22.如权利要求21所述的方法,其特征在于所述支撑结构包括可旋转地附装至枢轴柱的套管,伸展所述支撑结构的所述步骤进一步包括使所述套管沿所述枢轴柱滑动的步骤。
23.如权利要求21所述的方法,其特征在于围绕实质水平的轴旋转所述电子显示器的所述步骤包括使所述电子显示器的重心沿实质水平的直线路径移动的步骤。
24.如权利要求21所述的方法,其特征在于所述电子显示器被实质阻止接触所述实质垂直定向的表面。
25.一种用于将电子显示器安装至实质垂直定向的表面的装置,所述装置包括:
显示器接口结构;
支撑结构,用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质垂直的轴可旋转地定位;以及
用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位的装置;
其中所述电子显示器是实质自平衡的,且所述支撑结构可操作地连接至所述显示器接口结构以及所述用于将所述电子显示器围绕实质水平的轴可旋转地定位的装置。
