Abstract

Eine Entladungslampe-Erregungsschaltung enthält eine Emissionsbeschleunigungssteuereinrichtung zum Detektieren einer Lampenspannung für die Entladungslampe und zum Zuführen einer Leistung größer als ein Nennwert, wenn die Entladungslampe anfangs erregt wird, und zum allmählichen Reduzieren der zugeführten Leistung danach, derart, dass die Entladungslampe in den eingeschwungenen Zustand gebracht wird. Die Leistungssteuerung ist derart vorgesehen, dass die Leistung, die der Entladungslampe zugeführt wird, in Übereinstimmung mit einem Anstieg der Spannung eines Kondensators reduziert wird, und ein Ladestrom dem Kondensator durch Stromquellen zugeführt wird, die einen Strom, der von der Zeit abhängt, die seit dem Starten des Erregens der Entladungslampe abgelaufen sit, und einen zweiten Strom bereitstellen, der von der Lampenspannung abhängt.
