Abstract

Most grips are cylinder-shaped. Most grips surfaces are designed to have a uniform, straight surface and diameter. The hand surface and the fingers slip easily on a grip surface having such a design. Grip strips reduce slipping. When protuberances (A) are designed into or put on straight or wedge-shaped grip surfaces, increased hand grip is achieved. The protuberances (A) act as blockers.
