Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Gemeinschaftsan
tennenanlage gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to a community
Tennenanlage according to the preamble of claim 1.
Eine derartige Gemeinschaftsantennenanlage ist aus dem
Firmenkatalog DS 252, Ausg. 2 "System-Komponenten für
Rundfunksatelliten-Empfangsanlagen" der Firma Hirsch
mann, Seite 10, bekannt.Such a community antenna system is from the
Company catalog DS 252, edition 2 "system components for
Broadcast satellite receiving systems "from the Hirsch company
man, page 10, known.
Bei der in Fig. 1 veranschaulichten bekannten Gemein
schaftsantennenanlage zum Empfangen und Verteilen von
Satellitenrundfunksignalen ist in üblicher Weise eine
Richtantenne 1, z. B. ein Parabolspiegel, vorgesehen,
welche unter einer eingestellten Orbitposition sowohl
linksdrehend zirkular polarisierte Signale als auch
rechtsdrehend zirkular polarisierte Rundfunksignale
Jeder Teil
nehmeranschluß 8 umfaßt zwei Anschlußdosen 8 a und 8 b
In the known community antenna system illustrated in FIG. 1 for receiving and distributing satellite broadcast signals, a directional antenna 1 , e.g. B. a parabolic mirror is provided, which receives both left-handed circularly polarized signals and right-handed circularly polarized broadcast signals on a carrier frequency of, for example, 12 GHz under a set orbit position. These two signal components of the antennasi signals are separated from one another in a first converter 2 by means of a polarizing switch and implemented in their carrier position, for example at 800 MHz, in order to be able to be supplied to a second converter 5 via assigned coaxial cables 3, 4 . The left-hand circularly polarized signal component is designated L , while the right-hand circularly polarized signal component is designated R. In the second converter 5 there is a renewed conversion of the signal components L and R in the VHF range and a further signal amplification. The two output signals of the second converter are supplied to the subscriber connections 8 on assigned coaxial cables 10 and 11 . Each part slave terminal 8 includes two connection boxes 8 a and 8 b, each with two terminal bushings, for TV and radio, wherein at each junction box 8 a, 8 b a connection socket connected to the associated signal component L and R is occupied.
In order to convert an existing joint antenna system to satellite reception, it is therefore necessary not only to install a directional antenna 1 with two converters 2, 5 , but also to lay a second coaxial cable to each individual subscriber connection. if only one empty tube is provided for the previous routing of a coaxial cable, since usually only a single coaxial cable has space in an empty tube. Furthermore, each participant circuit must be provided with a double socket, which is difficult if there are further sockets for telephone, house intercom, electrical connections or the like in addition to the existing single antenna socket. These difficulties can often only be overcome by increased installation effort, which can exceed the acquisition costs for the directional antenna 1 and the two converters 2, 5 by a multiple.

The object of the invention is in a
Community antenna system of the aforementioned
Kind of feeding the left and right circular
polarized signal components to the subscriber connections
with a single coaxial cable.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch die kenn
zeichnenden Merkmale des Patentanspruchs gelöst.This object is achieved by the kenn
Drawing features of the claim solved.
Die erfindungsgemäße Gemeinschaftsantennenanlage ist
in Fig. 2 dargestellt.
ge Anschlußdose 9 auf, deren erste Anschlußbuchse 9 a
betreffenden Buchsen 9 a und 9 b zuführt.
The shared antenna system according to the invention is shown in Fig. 2. In the same way as in the prior art according to FIG. 1, a directional antenna 1 with two converters 2, 5 is present. In contrast to Fig. 1, all subscriber connections are connected by a single coaxial cable 12 in series, with the left-hand circularly polarized signal portion L at the output 6 of the converter 5 being fed into one end 12 a of the coaxial cable 12 , while the right-hand rotation circularly polarized signal component R at the output 7 of the converter 5 is fed into the other end 12 b of the coaxial cable 12 . Each subscriber terminal 8 has only a single ge socket 9 , the first socket 9 a, for example, with the signal component L and the second connector 9 b with the signal component R be sets. It is essential that in each socket 9, a directional coupler adapter 13 shown in FIG. 3 is present, which separates the two signal portions L and R transmitted as the leading and returning waves from the single coaxial cable 12 and feeds the relevant sockets 9 a and 9 b . Since the radio channels are arranged in the signal components L and R frequenzver sets, a relatively low decoupling attenuation between the forward and return shaft of the directional coupler adapter 13 is sufficient to ensure the separation of the signal components L and R. So that no disturbing reflections occur, the output resistance of the converter 5 must match the wave resistance of the coaxial cable 12 with sufficient accuracy.
Fig. 1 und der erfindungsgemäßen Gemeinschaftsantennen
Ferner
The comparison between the prior art according to FIG. 1 and the community antenna system according to the invention shown in FIG. 2 shows that existing community antenna systems can easily be converted to receive satellite broadcasting signals, since the existing one coaxial line is only returned to the converter 5 with its end must be in order to have the feed pump 12 a and 12 b available. Furthermore, for each subscriber line 8, only the existing one junction box needs to be exchanged for another junction box 9 of the same size, which is also possible without problems. The cost of such a retrofit is thus reduced to the purchase of the directional antenna 1 and the two converters 2 and 5 . It goes without saying that in addition to the two connection sockets 9 a , 9 b , a connection socket for radio can also be integrated into the connection socket 9 .
