Description

The invention relates to a method for controlling user programs of a computer, and a device for carrying out the method, in particular suitable for the fact that several people at the same time and independently of one another without requiring a further qualification from each participant, with and can communicate with the same computer user program. The input keyboard advises the hand-held keyboard ( 8 ) mentioned in claim 5. The output medium is the computer screen visible to all participants. In addition, the device offers the possibility of additionally giving targeted information to each participant by means of the signal lamp ( 10 ) built into the manual keyboard.

Interactive communication with a personal computer usually takes place via peripheral operating elements. The main input medium are the different types of keyboards ( 24 ). In addition, special Kommunikationein devices and circuit arrangements are known, which serve for the control of program sequences. An excellent example of this type is the joystick, which is used, for example, to control game programs. Other input devices, such as the so-called "mouse", enable interactive work with a computer user program. The input devices mentioned are characterized by the common property of only serving as an input medium for a single person.

The invention has for its object to provide a method for controlling user program sequences of a computer and an uncomplicated and easy-to-use device for performing the method, with the help fe several people communicate simultaneously and independently of one another with a computer and thus the sequence of a and design the same computer user program. This is achieved by the inventive method and a device for performing the method with the characterizing features of the claims. In addition, the facility has the advantage of achieving the desired goal, even in the simplest configuration of the hand keyboards with just a few keys. The entire facility is therefore inexpensive, robust, uncomplicated to use and practically usable for everyone without a training phase. An embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

In Fig. 1 with ( 23 ) the computer, with ( 24 ) as a standard input a keyboard and with ( 1 ) the interface card be, with the help of which the computer bus ( 2 ) is adapted and which via a connector cable ( 4 ) Ver connection to the distribution device ( 5 ) realized. The distribution device Ver ( 5 ) is constructed so that several hand keyboards can be connected by means of a connector ( 6 ) and a flexible cable connection ( 7 ). The signals are input to the computer with the various input keys ( 11 ). The signal output from the computer to the participant is achieved with the LED signal lamp ( 10 ).

Fig. 2 shows the basic circuit diagram of the electronic circuit of the device. The discrete signal input it follows by means of a voltage divider, the first resistor of the voltage divider ( 16 ) being in the distributor ( 5 ) and having one end leading to the signal input line ( 15 ) coming from the hand-held keyboard ( 8 ) via the Ver divider ( 5 ) and the cable connection ( 4 ) establishes the connection to an input ( 19 ) of the interface card ( 1 ). The two-th resistor ( 14 ) is located within the hand-held keyboard ( 8 ) and is connected to the ground line ( 13 ) by means of the key contact ( 12 ). Resistors ( 14 ) with different resistance values are assigned to the individual keys ( 12 ). By pressing a button, current flows from the supply voltage ( 17 ) via the first resistor ( 16 ) and the respective second resistor ( 14 ) of the voltage divider to the ground line ( 13 ), so that due to the resulting voltage division on the input line ( 15 ) Voltage arises which leads via the distributor ( 5 ) to the input of the multiple xer ( 19 ) on the interface card and is converted into a digital value by the following analog converter ( 20 ). The downstream bus control circuit ( 18 ) represents the interface to the computer bus ( 2 ) and ensures the adoption of the digital values. When the signal is output, the bus control circuit ( 18 ) accepts digital values from the computer bus ( 2 ) and passes them on to the output circuit ( 21 ). From there, the signals on the output lines go via the distributor ( 5 ) to the LED signal lamps of the individual hand-held keyboards.

The number of input options is the number of Keyboard shortcuts set.
