Die Walze besitzt ein größeres Eigengewicht, so daß die Vorrichtung infolge Verlegung des Schwerpunktes nach der in möglichst weiter Entfernung von der Buchstütze angebrachten Walze auch nach vorn über die Tischkante oder die Unterlage vorgezogen werden kann. Diese Durchbildung ermöglicht es, in aufrechter Haltung¹ zu lesen, und ein leichtes Verschieben der Vorrichtung in den zum Lesen erforderlichen Abstand von den Augen. Während des Lesens kann der Leser in bequemer Lage in einem Sessel oder Stuhl aufrecht sitzen.
