Die Erfindung betrefft ein Badehäuschen zum Anhängen an die Außenseite einer Wand
von Vogelkäfigen für Zimmervögel vor einer in der Wand angebrachten Öffnung. Bei den
bekannten Badehäuschen dieser Art ist das Bad von einer Bodenvertiefung mit steil abfallendem
Rand gebildet und liegt mit nur kleinem Abstand von der Anhängeseite des Häuschens. Bei einem derart ausgebildeten
und angeordneten Bad ist der im Käfig befindliche Vogel für den Fall, daß er baden
will, gezwungen, von einem kurzen Rand aus unmittelbar in das an allen Stellen gleich tiefe
Wasser des Bades zu gehen. Das entspricht aber nicht den natürlichen Gepflogenheiten
von Vögeln, denn die Vögel suchen beim Baden in der Freiheit ihnen einen guten Zutritt
gestattende Wasserstellen auf, bei denen der Boden vom Rande aus allmählich abfällt
ao und so beschaffen ist, daß er dem badenden Vogel einen guten Halt bietet. Die Erfindung
betrifft eine dementsprechende Anordnung und Ausbildung des Bades bei Vogelbadehäuschen,
wobei der Raum des Häuschens und das Bad so groß gehalten ist, daß der badende Vogel
sich ungehindert im Bade bewegen kann. Durch die Erfindung wird erreicht, daß auch
in der Gefangenschaft gehaltene Vögel ihren natürlichen Gepflogenheiten entsprechend und
