Definitions
- the invention relates to a refrigerator or freezer according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention has for its object to take measures in a refrigerator or freezer according to the preamble of claim 1, through which a fully usable storage shelf is provided with simple means.
- a one-piece construction is made possible in which both the rear side edge can be angled upwards or the front side edge can be inclined downwards during the manufacturing process.
- the result is a uniform, closed appearance, without annoying abutting edges, which are otherwise unavoidable with attachment parts.
- the one-piece design is more hygienic and easier to clean.
- the inexpensive material combination of glass and plastic is retained, so that the noises caused by different thermal expansion are avoided.
- the rear edge can be folded upwards with sharp edges or with a bending radius of up to 20 mm, for example.
- cutouts can also be provided, which are arranged such that the glass plate can be pulled out with the door open but still projecting into the opening plane to such an extent that the protruding support sections are led out of the guide rails at least in the front region can be.
- the glass plate can then be pivoted downwards or upwards, so that a support section provided in the rear section of the glass plate can also move out of the respective guide rail.
- the side edges of the glass plate, but in particular the front side edge facing the opening plane, are ground or chamfered, so that the risk of cuts on the side edges is also removed with an aesthetic appearance.
- a recess or notch can also be worked into the surface of the glass plate, so that higher refrigerated goods, such as bottles in particular, placed on a support plate arranged underneath and can protrude with the upper section through the glass plate.
- Glass plates can also be used which have a width perpendicular to the front side edge, that is to say in the depth of the housing, which is less than the usable cooling space depth. There is then no need for recesses or notches or, if the user so desires, two such partial glass plates or one in the depth of the cold room can be arranged.

Abstract
Description
Anspruchs. The invention relates to a refrigerator or freezer according to the preamble of
It is very well known in refrigerators or freezers of this type to guide at least one glass plate in the cold room in horizontal lateral guide rails of the cold room side walls. These guide rails are preferably molded into the side walls and extend from a door opening level in a horizontal direction into the housing depth and preferably end at a distance from the rear wall of the cooling space that a gap required for air circulation remains between the storage plate and the rear wall. Such storage shelves made of glass are flat with straight cut side edges and have neither on the front nor on the rear side edge means for facilitating the insertion of refrigerated goods or inhibitors for preventing inserted refrigerated goods from being pushed down over the rear side edge. Such aids can be created by additional parts to be attached, but this increases the manufacturing effort significantly.
The invention has for its object to take measures in a refrigerator or freezer according to the preamble of
Anspruchs. This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of
In a configuration of a refrigerator or freezer according to the invention with a three-dimensionally shaped contour plate made of glass, a one-piece construction is made possible in which both the rear side edge can be angled upwards or the front side edge can be inclined downwards during the manufacturing process. The result is a uniform, closed appearance, without annoying abutting edges, which are otherwise unavoidable with attachment parts. The one-piece design is more hygienic and easier to clean. In addition, the inexpensive material combination of glass and plastic is retained, so that the noises caused by different thermal expansion are avoided. The rear edge can be folded upwards with sharp edges or with a bending radius of up to 20 mm, for example. In the side edges of the glass plate engaging in the guide rails, cutouts can also be provided, which are arranged such that the glass plate can be pulled out with the door open but still projecting into the opening plane to such an extent that the protruding support sections are led out of the guide rails at least in the front region can be. The glass plate can then be pivoted downwards or upwards, so that a support section provided in the rear section of the glass plate can also move out of the respective guide rail. The side edges of the glass plate, but in particular the front side edge facing the opening plane, are ground or chamfered, so that the risk of cuts on the side edges is also removed with an aesthetic appearance. A recess or notch can also be worked into the surface of the glass plate, so that higher refrigerated goods, such as bottles in particular, placed on a support plate arranged underneath and can protrude with the upper section through the glass plate. Glass plates can also be used which have a width perpendicular to the front side edge, that is to say in the depth of the housing, which is less than the usable cooling space depth. There is then no need for recesses or notches or, if the user so desires, two such partial glass plates or one in the depth of the cold room can be arranged. The glass plate can be made of safety glass. If the glass plate is made of pressed glass, then the side edges and possibly also the corner areas can be rounded or chamfered.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings of exemplary embodiments.
Es zeigt:
- Fig. 1 eine einstückige Ablageplatte und
- Fig. 2 eine geteilte Ablageplatte.
- Fig. 1 is a one-piece tray and
- Fig. 2 is a divided tray.
The
According to FIG. 2, two partial glass plates 1.1 and 1.2 arranged one behind the other in the cold room depth form a storage plate. Each of these partial glass plates 1.1 and 1.2 has a width perpendicular to the
This results in a one-piece construction for the glass plate, which can be represented inexpensively with an appealing, variable design.
