Description

The invention relates to an outer packaging made of cardboard for wrapping at least one object, with a top wall, two side walls and two at least partially overlapping bottom wall sections forming the bottom of the outer packaging, one of which has openings and the other hook-shaped closure devices, which in the Engage openings to connect the two bottom wall sections.

Such outer packaging is known from EP-PS 0 233 078, in which a circular segment-shaped recess and a slot arrangement are provided for engaging a hook-shaped closure device. The threading of the hook-shaped closure device into these two receptacles is extremely complicated and expensive.

The invention has for its object to provide an outer packaging of the type mentioned so that a simple hooking of the hook-shaped closure device is possible and still a secure closure is achieved.

This object is achieved in that the hook-shaped closure devices consist essentially of two parts arranged one behind the other, one of which which an inner is hinged to the bottom wall section via a fold line, an arcuate incision directed against the bottom wall section being arranged within this fold line, which cuts off a nose-shaped projection, and that the other outer part is hinged to the first part via a further fold line, in which In the area of this second fold line, a recess is provided on both sides from the outside, and that both parts have an essentially trapezoidal shape, and that the opening has a boundary edge that runs straight and parallel to the outer edge of the bottom wall section, on which two mutually inclined, Connect inwardly extending boundary edges, at the end of which two diverging boundary edges are arranged, which are connected by an inner boundary edge running essentially parallel to the first boundary edge, the two end sections of which divide against one another running boundary edges are bent, and that cut lines are provided in the extension of these two diverging boundary edges.

With such a configuration, the outer packaging can be closed particularly easily and without great mechanical outlay.

The invention is illustrated in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment.

The figure shows a flat cardboard blank 1, which has a cover wall, not shown, and side walls 2 and 3 formed thereon. A bottom wall section 4 or 5 is articulated on each of the two side walls via a fold line 6, 7. The bottom wall section 4 is provided at its end facing away from the articulated folding line 6 with three hook-shaped locking devices 8, these locking devices 8 being articulated via a folding line 9. In the middle of each closure device 8 this fold line 9 is interrupted by an arcuate incision 10 directed against the bottom wall section 4, whereby a nose-shaped projection 100 is formed. The closure device 8 consists of two parts 18 and 28 arranged one behind the other, which are connected to one another via a further fold line 11. In the course of this fold line 11, recesses 12, 13 are provided between the two parts 18 and 28 of the closure device 8 from both outer sides. Both parts 18 and 28 of the closure device 8 are essentially trapezoidal and serve to engage in openings 15 which are arranged congruently with the three closure devices in the other bottom wall section 5. These openings 15 each have a boundary edge 16 which runs parallel to the outer edge 17 of the bottom wall section 5. This boundary edge 16 is adjoined by two further boundary edges 19, 20 which are inclined towards one another and extend inwards, at the ends of which two diverging boundary edges 21, 22 connect. These two diverging boundary edges 21, 22 are connected by an inner boundary edge 23 running essentially parallel to the first boundary edge 16, the two end sections of which are bent towards the diverging boundary edges 21, 22. In extension of these two diverging boundary edges 21, 22, cut lines 24, 25 are provided, into which the outer part 28 of the hook-shaped closure device 8 can engage. In contrast, the arcuate incision 10 is supported with its end portions 101 and 102 on the outer boundary edge 16 when the two bottom wall sections 4 and 5 are plugged together, the nose-shaped projection 100 abutting the bottom wall section 5 at the same time.
