Auch von außen ist bei entsprechender Zugriffsberechtigung eine Abfrage der abgespeicherten Daten und ein etwaiger Eingriff auf Stell- und Steuereinrichtungen, die an den Bordcomputer angeschlossen sind, möglich. Im Rahmen der bekannten Maßnahmen werden Zustandsdaten der Waggons erfaßt und zur weiteren Auswertung an eine oder mehrere zentrale Leitstellen weitergeleitet. Bei Vorhandensein einer entsprechenden Sensorik können die Fahrtstrecke und die Zahl der Rangierstöße exakt erfaßt werden, was z.
