On a clamping neck 24 of a drive shaft 22, a blocking means in the form of a stop cam 32 is provided, which is formed in a clamping band 26 for fastening a protective cover 16 on the clamping collar 24 and pressed to the inside of the clamping band 26 ( Fig. 4 ). Claims (7)

  1. Guard for an electric machine tool with an application tool (14) which is drivable in a rotating manner, with which the application tool (14) can be covered at least in regions with at least one blocking means (32, 40), wherein the at least one blocking means (32, 40) is provided for blocking rotation of the guard about an axis of rotation (18) of the application tool (14), characterized in that the blocking means is formed by a protruding blocking lug (40) which is worked out of the sheet metal of the guard (16) by partial punching out and bending over, and/or is welded on, adhesively bonded or screwed on, wherein the blocking lug (40) is arranged on a surface extending substantially perpendicularly to the axis of rotation (18), adjacent to a recess for a driveshaft (22).
  2. Guard according to Claim 1, characterized in that the blocking means (32, 40) is formed by a stop cam (32) in a flange (30) which serves for the fastening and extends substantially parallel to the axis of rotation (18).
  3. Guard according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the blocking means (32, 40) is formed by a stop cam (32) in a tightening strap (26) connected to the flange (30).
  4. Guard according to Claim 3, characterized in that the stop cam (32) is directed towards a tightening neck (24) in the fitted state.
  5. System consisting of electric machine tool and guard (16) according to one of the preceding claims.
  6. System according to Claim 5, characterized in that the means for securing against rotation (20) can be released by action of the application tool (14) on the guard (16).
  7. Angle grinding machine, the grinding wheel of which is covered at least in regions with a guard (16), according to one of the preceding claims.
