Abstract

A standing lamp (1) comprises a lamp pillar (2) extending from a base (3) and holding a lamp head (10) containing a light source. The head is movable from a transporting position in which it is parallel to the pillar into an operational horizontal position in which it can be locked. An independent claim is also included for an further standing lamp that can be rotated.
