To all 'whom it may concern.'
Be it known that I, CLEMENT LE MOINE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Sioux Cit in the county of Woodbury and State of owa, have invented certain new and vuseful Improvements in Diapers, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to an improved infants diaper and'has as one of its principal objects to provide a diaper employing an absorbent pad in connection therewith so that repeated washing of the diaper will be obviated by simply renewing the pad.
A further object of the invention in this connection is to provide a pad which will be inexpensive, whichwill readily absorb moisture, and which will tend to hold the moisi ture absorbed thereby.
A still further object of the invention is to provide a diaper which will be composed of few parts and wherein, in manufacture, the parts may be readily assembled. 4
lAnd the invention has as a still further object to provide a diaper which will fit snugly without any uncomfortable bunching or wrmkling and which, when in place, will sta fther and incidental objects will appear hereinafter.

In carrying the invention into effect, m improved diaper is formed with a body 10 whlch is preferably constructed of a single piece of suitable material reduced at its end portions to provide side flaps 11, the upper edge of the body being straight while the lower edge thereof slopes upwardly in oposite directions to the ends of said flaps.
