Abstract
The present invention is to provide an electronic device with a handle, which includes a server being connected and inserted into a host, a lug being installed separately on both edges on one side of the server and attached to both ends on one side of the server, and a handle being pivotally coupled separately on both sides of the server proximate to the lug and integrally formed with the lug and capable of rotating towards the center of the host, so that the server can be pushed into the host by pushing the handle or pulled out from the host to avoid collisions to the host.
Description
- The present invention generally relates to electronic devices, and more particularly to an electronic device with a handle that can make the installation of the electronic device safer and more convenient.
- As our life has entered into an information era with a blooming electronic industry, various high-tech electronic products derived from computers are developed in a fast manner and definitely bring a substantial breakthrough to the development of science and technology. However, while various current electronic technologies are being developed and advanced constantly, the hardware installation and the way of using interfaces of related electronic products need to meet the requirements of ergonomic designs and applications as to make electronic products more convenient to use, practical, safe and time-saving. For example, a conventional large server comes with a host, and the host can install a plurality of servers. To allow users to install the servers onto the host in a safer and more convenient fashion, major technical companies and manufactures spare no effort to design various servers that can be transported faster and more conveniently.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 , afixed handle 61 is usually installed on both ends on one side of theserver 60, and thefixed handle 61 is substantially a slightly curved L-shape iron plate facing one side of theserver 60. Since thefixed handle 61 cannot be moved or rotated freely, therefore users usually have to hold thefixed handle 61 facing one side of the conventionalprior server 60 by a certain finger (such as the index finger) of both hands, and grip another side of thefixed handle 61 by another finger (such as the thumb) so as to install the server onto the host or remove the server from the host. - However, when a user pushes the server into the host, the
fixed handle 61 restricts the operating space of the user's hands, and even may cause injuries to the user's hands (such as being clamped or hit). Furthermore, the design of the conventionalfixed handle 61 has a shortcoming of being difficult for users to grip or apply force, and thus causing a collision by accident or a system failure. When a user lifts up the server, the force applying on thefixed handle 61 is poor and it will induce pains to the user's hands. Therefore, finding a solution for the foregoing problem is an important subject of the present invention. - In view of the shortcomings of the prior-art, the inventor of the present invention conducted extensive research and development to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art and finally invented an electronic device with a handle.
- It is therefore a primary objective of the present invention to provide an electronic device with a handle, which comprises: a server being connected and inserted into a host; a lug being installed separately on both edges on one side of the server and the lugs are attached to both ends on one side of the server; a handle being pivotally coupled separately on both sides of the server proximate to the lug, and the handle is integrated with the lug as a whole and capable of rotating towards the center of the host, and the server is pushed into the host by pushing the handle or pulled out from the host to avoid collisions to the host.
- The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 2 and 3 , an electronic device with a handle in accordance with the present invention is illustrated. The invention comprises: aserver 20, and theserver 20 has alug 25 being installed separately on the both edges on one side of the twoservers 20; ahandle 30, being pivotally coupled separately on both sides of theserver 20 proximate to the twolugs 25. Theserver 25 can be connected and inserted into thehost 1, such that thelugs 25 are attached onto both ends on one side of theserver 25, and thehandle 30 can rotate towards the center of theserver 20 to integrate thelug 25 as a whole, such that thehandle 30 can be pushed to push theserver 20 into thehost 1 or pull out theserver 20 from thehost 1 to avoid collisions to thehost 1. - Referring to
FIGS. 2 and 3 again for a preferred embodiment of the present invention, thehandle 30 has a U-shape opening 31, and the U-shape opening 31 faces theserver 30, and abolt 32 passes through both ends of the U-shape opening 31, such that thehandle 30 is pivotally connected to an end of thelug 25, and thehandle 30 can use thebolt 32 as the center of its rotary axis. Therefore, when thehandle 30 is rotated to one side of theserver 20 to integrate with thelug 25 as a whole, the U-shape opening 31 can precisely accommodate thelug 25. When thehandle 30 is rotated to a position to produce an included angle with thelug 25, a user can push theserver 20 into thehost 1 by holding thehandle 30 or pull theserver 20 out from thehost 1 to avoid colliding the hands with thehost 1. - Referring to
FIG. 4 for another preferred embodiment, anarc hook 253 is protruded from another end of thehandle 30 corresponding to theserver 20. When thehandle 30 is rotated to one side to integrate thelug 25 as a whole, thehook 253 can combine with one side of thelug 25 and closely attach with the host, such that thehandle 30 cannot be moved freely. - Referring to
FIG. 5 for still another preferred embodiment of the present invention, at least onegroove 40 is disposed on one side of thelug 25 facing thehandle 30, and a plurality ofprotrusions 35 corresponding to thegrooves 40 is disposed on one side of thehandle 30 facing thelugs 25, and theprotrusions 35 can be accommodated precisely into thegrooves 40. If it is necessary to push theserver 20 into thehost 1, thehandles 30 are rotated to one side and integrate with thelugs 25 as a whole. By that time, theprotrusions 35 are moved to thegrooves 40 and embedded into thegrooves 40 so as to fix theserver 20 to thehost 1. - Referring to
FIG. 2 for the preferred embodiment again, one side of thelug 25 is fixed by one side of theserver 20 and connected with theserver 20. Thelug 25 has a plurality ofbores 251 disposed thereon, and the same number of bores is drilled at the corresponding positions on both sides of thehost 1. A plurality offixed bolts 252 is used to screw onto both sides of thehost 1, such that theserver 20 is fixed into thehost 1, and theserver 20 cannot be removed from thehost 1. Referring toFIG. 6 , asheath 45 is provided to cover the surface of thehandle 30, and thesheath 45 is hollow that can sheathe around thehandle 30. - While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
Claims (6)
1. An electronic device with a handle, comprising:
a server, being connected and inserted into a host;
a lug, being attached separately on both edges on one side of said server;
a handle, being pivotally coupled separately on both sides of said server and capable of rotating towards the center of said host or rotating to a position to integrate with said lug as a whole.
2. The electronic device with a handle of claim 1 , wherein said handle comprises a U-shape opening facing said server and a bolt passing through both ends of said U-shape opening, such that said handle is pivotally coupled to said server and one end is connected to said lug, and said U-shape opening is capable of accommodating said lug precisely.
3. The electronic device with a handle of claim 1 , wherein said handle comprises a hook being protruded from another end of said handle corresponding to said server, and said hook is substantially in an arc shape and integrally formed with said handle, and when said handle is rotated to a position to be integrated with said lug, said hook is coupled onto said host.
4. The electronic device with a handle of claim 1 , wherein said lug comprises at least one groove disposed on one side of said handle and a protrusion disposed on said handle and on a side facing said lug, and said protrusion is accommodated precisely into said groove such that said protrusion is embedded into said groove.
5. The electronic device with a handle of claim 1 , wherein said lug is substantially flat and L-shaped; one side of said lug is fixed onto one side of said server; said lug has a plurality of bores disposed thereon and said host has the same number of bores disposed at the corresponding positions on both sides' and a plurality of fastening bolts can be screwed onto both sides of said host.
6. The electronic device with a handle of claim 1 , wherein said handle comprises a hollow sheath for covering the surface of said handle.
