Be it known-thet- LMELv'm-JiNcKs, of Dnnsville, in the county of Livingston, and State of New York, have invented certain new andnseful Improvements in Lump-Burners; and I do hereby declare that the following is at full, clear, and exact description thereof, refcreneebeinglied to the aceompanyingdrwwings, and to the letters of reference marked thereon,,which form a part of this specification, in which b Figure 1 represents e pl'an view,- with the cone removed.

The nature of this invention consists in constructing n l'nmp-burner so that it ninybeadopted to-(lifferenta sized or styleof chimneys, the same being effected by the rneuns substantially as hereinafter set forth,

To enable others skilled in the art to make and employ my invention, I'will xiowdescribeits' construction and operation; I

A represents the burner, provided with a platform, perforated, as shown in fig. I. Said platform is also furnished with holes, old, as' seen in fig. 1, the, object of which will be more fully apparent hereafter.
