DESIGN FOR-A LABEL;
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,711, dated my e, 1899;
Application filed April 8, 1899. Serial No. 712,332. Term of patent 7 years.
5 State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Label, of which the following is aspecification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
My design is intended for use as a label.
In the accompanying drawing the design is shown on a rectangular panel.
The design comprises one large irregular panel (designated by letters A A) outlined by [5 scrollwork and out nearly through the center horizontally by a curving line of five medals B, above the center of which is shown a bunch of leaves and blossoms C. An eagle with outspread wings standing upon a shield similar to that used in the coat of arms of the United States surmounts the design, and a circle of rays is shown rising behind it. Groups of palm-leaves are represented as emerging from behind the panel at either side of the design. At the two lower corners are respectively to the left the dome of the Capitol at Vashington and to the right Morro Castle at Havana.
