Abstract

The invention relates to an electrical device, comprising a casing which is open at least at its front end, a front panel, said front panel bearing a front membrane and a display unit, and a front frame. In order to be able to make the best possible use of the space in such a device without modifying its external dimensions, the front panel and the front frame are component parts (16, 17) of a single-piece molded part (14), said molded part having a continuous outer edge (16) on its rear side (15). The molded part (14) also has the front membrane (23) on its front side and a circuit board (18) with the display unit (19) and other circuit components on the rear side, inside the outer edge (16).
