Abstract

Epoxy-functionallized polymeric microbeads and dispersions thereof may be prepared using a cationic non-aqueous dispersion-suspension photopolymerization. The polymeric microbeads may be further modified with a variety of additional groups by reaction with various reagents with the epoxy moities.
