Abstract

A data transmission management system comprising a data transmission system of the kind in which an Internet Service Provider (ISP) facilitates access to a database via connection through the Internet, a data transmission management device, said data transmission management device being provided to select the path for transmission of requested data from said database to said user, having regard to the physical characteristics of said data.
