Abstract

A transaction facilitation system (10) for facilitating commercial transactions includes an electronic order entry and processing system (11) accessible via a first communications network (13) from a plurality of access means. The order entry and processing system (11) is operable to receive information relating to a transaction for the provision of goods or services advertised via the access means, as selected by a purchaser of the goods and services accessing the access means via a second communications network, and to provide a facility for processing the transaction, thereby enabling the purchaser to electronically purchase the selected goods or services.
