Abstract

The present invention relates electrical stimulation (18) of structures having high fiber density, such as white matter tracts (14) of the brain, to effect desired stimulation of associated brain structures. The stimulation of such white matter tracts or other structures can help reduce seizures or otherwise help control seizures by overdriving at least some electrical activity of the associated brain structures.
