Abstract

The invention relates to an alphanumeric input unit, in particular for a computer comprising a keyboard (1) provided with a mouse function and mobile individual keys (15) for producing analysable signals (15). The inventive alphanumeric input unit is characterised in that it comprises a first sensory function (2) for recording the weight a finger (8, 9) touching the keyboard (1) or the noise produced by said finger independently from the position thereof on the keyboard (1) and a second sensory function (3) for recording the position of the finger independently from the fact that said finger (8, 9, 10) really touches the keyboard (1) or not, thereby making it possible to carry out any possible inputs by means of the key board and the mouse on the basis of the signals of two sensory functions (2, 3).
