It is a digital device that works by the cell phone system, (GSM) and SIM in which users own number is saved. This card is IC of EEPROM that has 16 terminals.
Problem or deficiency with previous art:
Despite the fact that the cellular phone applies sophisticated technology that it could be used for protecting valuable objects (watches, jewelries etc) or detecting children, old people and mentally retard. However, SBvI could easily be taken out of the phone and this is considered a defect.
New with the invention:
The device of the current invention resembles the cellular phone but without microphone, keypad or screen. The device includes SIM as one integrated unit. The SIM has specified number through which the server network can easily detect the device holder. The device could be in the shape of button or a pin, which is fixed in a person's clothes. The device is used to detect children, old people or mentally retard persons. It could also be provided with a button to dial a pre-saved number of a relative in case of anything wrong occurred. Other aspect of the invention is that it could be used to protect cars. The device is inserted inside any of its parts or seats. The car is opened or closed automatically when the owner dials the number saved on the SIM. Upon any trial to open the car illegally;, the device dials up to the owner e.g. like the alarm, and in case of car robbery the car could be detect via server network. Further, the device could be used too in museums to protect monuments as well as protecting
countries borders. The device could be made in different shapes, with different technologies ,to fulfill its target .
The detailed description:
The device of the current invention is produced in several shapes, according to the protected product. Preferably, the device is produced and arranged inside the material of the protected product, so that it is hard to reach. The device could be provided with a camera that works with the third generation of networks. The camera is used to take a photo to a thief and automatically contact the owner. This device is operated through a central network, such as, a cellular phone with a flat type antenna, however the earphone, microphone, keypad and screen are removed. It is equipped with storage unit on which a phone number is stored, automatically dialed when needed. Inside the device there is SDvI card, consists of IC of EEPROM type. The SEvI characterized in that, the saved number cannot be changed, and the network code is saved on it. Each device is equipped with a power unit suits the operation nature of protected object. For example, cars equipped with a power unit recharged by the dynamo in the car engine. For people, the power unit resembles that of the cellular, watches ....etc.
It is worth mention that the device is possibly produced in very small sizes due to removing many of its parts as aforementioned. The device works through GSM network systems, on a frequency 900 MHz, with microwave waves coverage range between 3-5 km. The system consists of : 1 -Transmission tower, 2-A device for protecting valuable objects, 3-SIM card.
The network code is operated round the clock to be distinguished from codes of other networks. Transmission/ receiving towers could be extended to overcome the problem of high buildings. It applies a digital system, therefore the protected -object could be detected easily. The device could be provided with a camera to capture the image of the thief.
The device of this invention works via GSM system with a frequency of 900 MEIz. The GSM system consists of: 1 -Transmission tower (tower assembly with central unit) , 2-Devices for protecting valuables (arranged inside the targeted object), 3-SIM card,
4-Signals transmitted and received by the tower assembly, and they are :- ■ main recognition carrier wave with frequency of 900 MHz.
■ recognition signal from the device arranged inside the protected object. Hie signal is periodically transmitted to the network (transmission and receiving tower)and carrying the SIM card number which is previuosly saved.
■ sending confirmation signal to the cell phone from transmission and receiving tower with a message having the SIM card number. This message confirms the device workability. If the device is out of service, the message is not sent.
The device is simple and cheap, it costs about $ 20, while protecting object much valuable. In Egypt,in the cell phone, there is the prepaid card system, which gives up to 6 months validity for LE 110 to gain this service . The device works only if the targeted object is robbed or lost, moreover one SIM card may be used to protect more than one object. In other embodiment, the current invention relates to designing and developing a new unit to operate the flash memory of USB port. They work together for the perfect protection of the (artistic works - multimedia - programs). With the aim of reducing costs, the flash memory may be maniifactured without SIM card, therefore the stored data is not to be copied or transferred. An auto run program is stored on the flash memory to display ways of connecting the companies producing (artistic works - multimedia - programs).
Method of exploitation:
The factories producing mobile sets, with shapes and sizes that fit all purposes, produce the device of the current invention. The shape of the device is determined according to the object to be protected, such as buttons, which can be used to protect children, old people or mentally retard persons. In other aspect, the device is fixed on expensive clothes. Additionally, the device can be used to protect cars, laptop, projectors, monuments against theft, and protect countries border. The device through the server network could detect speed of school buses or public buses. Military machines can also be provided with such device and soldiers as well.
It should be taken into consideration that the device is manufactured as integral part of the protected object, in order to protect the device itself against theft. However, the device could be produced as a separate unit having SIM inside it. Single number with multi Sim cards could be used to protect more than one object .Also service could be upgraded, for example, in case of protecting a car, it could be provided with switch box has several lines carrying different internal numbers,
each has certain function; one starting engine, second for opening the car doors, third for cutting electrical circuit to break down the car if anyone tried to steal it, and the fourth restarts it. If anyone tried to open the car by force, the number is dialed automatically instead of starting the alarm. The service is upgraded according to the requirements. On military vehicles, they are provided with cameras and internal switch to redial internal numbers and transfer the image via the media carrier third generation network. Consequently, in future, the car could be driven without steering wheel by the cell phone after upgraded with the necessary technology whether the driver inside or outside ,and having several internal numbers for the car by the means of the switch box.
As previously mentioned, the device works via GSM system with frequency 900 MHz. approximately the same wave range of many countries. The system consists of transmitting tower (an assembly of towers connected with a central unit). Protection devices, with SIM card inserted inside it, is fixed to the object to be protected. Signals are sent to the transmission tower having basic recognition wave with the name of the sender network (carrier wave) of 900 MHz. The recognition signals are frequently send to the network with the SIM card number. The transmitted signals with the SIM number indicates its validity, whereas the signals are not transmitted the card is not valid. This system, through the network, detects the lost valuables and by a telephone call the place of the lost valuables is determined.
The same technology is used for protecting artistic works such as, books, movies, songs and computer software. The artistic works are recorded on tapes, video, CD, electronic slides, hard disk or on a flash memory, which are easily copied. To avoid such kind of stealing, there should be a kind of international law to prohibit all copying instruments, and limiting using it within manifacturing companies, considering the act of copying is the responsibility of people working in producing such things. However, the device of the current invention is designed to protect the artistic works against theft. In that respect, the artistic work (movies, songs .... etc) is transmitted by the producing company directly, to the users only through the device without copying. The (flash memory USB port), which is widely spread,is used instead of copying, as it is provided internally with a mobile line in order to make it a receiving unit for these artistic works ( movies, songs ...etc) . The USB port has more than one terminal supplied with power by the operating unit (which could be a computer or any designed device which can operate it). Specialized companies are to design software programs, which are saved on the flash memory. The saved program spontaneously contacts the producing company, through the phone numbers saved on the device memory.
The user can choose what he/she desires from the artistic works displayed by the producing company and pay through the flash memory, which has an internal mobile line.via the prepaid card or via the e-monetary (application 58 filed on 22/01/2003, Academy of Scientific Research & Technology). In other embodiment, the user can pay annual subscription to enjoy the advantage of newspapers and magazines everyday. It is worth mentioned that the flash memory carries certain numbers of the producing company, and, if the company desires, the user may not know his/her number, so the company exclusively has the right to transmit works and in case of leakage it is from inside the company. Or, the user could be informed with his/her number, in case of the presence of software programs by which the flash memory could be used as a phone. Additionally, "the sole user book" is another way to protect the works. This service allows the user to receive all books he/she needs including school books.
To spread widely to this application of the flash memory unit, in addition to reducing costs , the main operating unit ( as in detailed description ) , is designed to operate the flash memory unit without fixing Sim card inside it.
Jn other aspect of the invention, the main operating unit can be used as a telephone or cell phone, with image displayed on the screen of the home T. V. The device of this invention together with the server can be used as a radio or T.V. to broadcast songs and commercials on the free numbers provided by the mobile company,to explain the different services systems, and adding video to sound , makes it as T.V. channels with locked codes (impossible to unlock). In case of subscribing .paying through the device is available , this also could be applied on computer programs , newspapers and books.
The new unit with its unique design, that has a keypad attached thereto, can be used as a mobile phone. Therefore if the keypad is lost SIM and all data are stored on the main unit.
