Abstract

A golf mat for displaying advertising includes a first layer having a top surface and a bottom surface; a second layer having a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the first layer is attached to the second layer; a recess extending into the top surface of the first layer; and an electronic advertising element having advertising displayed thereon, wherein the electronic advertising element is situated within the recess. The advertising is text, a static image, or a video advertisement. The electronic device is configured to receive advertising content and programming instructions and is configured to transmit statistical data. A method of electronically displaying the advertisement is also disclosed.
