Abstract

An ovenproof dish (100) having a bottom (104) and a side wall (102) designed to allow the dish to be stacked on top of an identical dish inside an oven (300) with the bottom of the first dish resting on the upwards facing rim (106) of the side wall of the bottom dish. The dish may have an insulating leg (101) permanently fixed to the dish, rendering the use of dish mats superfluous. According to the invention a dish set may comprise several dishes (100, 200) of different dimensions to be stacked crosswise on top of each other.
