Abstract
A method for imparting control to an application program (A P) running on an electronic device, said electronic device comprising a touch panel and processor for controlling said touch panel, said method being carried out by said processor and comprising the acts of displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) of the A P on the touch panel; capturing a first touch input on the GUI, said first touch input corresponding to a first touched portion of said GUI; - monitoring further touch input events on the GUI, imparting an AP control in response to the monitored further touch input events when determining that said further touch input events correspond to touched portions contiguous with one another on the GUI, causing the first touched portion to change in size.
