Abstract

Media content may be selected from a list of media content that is presented to the user. Media content may also be identified using information corresponding to a user received from a third party data source. It may be determined whether the selected media content is available from a first source within a certain time period. If the selected media content is available from the first source within the time period, then the user may perform a certain action on the media content. If the selected media content is not available within the pre-determined time period, the user may access the media content from another source. Information corresponding to the user may be received from a first widget operating on the user equipment and may be accessible and shared with a second widget to customize a manner in which the second widget provides content to the user.
