Abstract
The voltage transformer (10) for operating at least one digital switch has a supply voltage input (11) and a reference voltage output (12). Furthermore, the voltage transformer (10) comprises a clocked step-down converter (20) having a first input (21), which is electrically coupled to the supply voltage input (11), and a first output, which is electrically coupled to the reference voltage output (12). In addition, the voltage transformer (10) comprises a clocked step-up converter (30) having a second output (32), which is electrically coupled to the supply voltage input (11), and a second input (31), which is electrically coupled to the reference voltage output (12). The voltage transformer (10) has an actuating circuit (40) which is designed to take a controlled variable, which is representative of a voltage applied to the reference voltage output (12), as a basis for actuating the step-down converter (20) and/or the step-up converter (30).
