Abstract

Device for cooling beverages constituted by a small envelope or pouch containing a freezable liquid. The heat-sealed device is placed in the beverage when the liquid it contains is frozen such that it acts as an artificial ice cube. It cools the beverage without diluting the latter. In addition to the liquid, the device contains a laminar object that can support any type of graphic representation, be it text, drawing, logo or advertising, via any medium, such that said graphics are visible to the beverage consumer while the device is cooling the beverage. The cooling device may be produced in any shape, not only parallelepipedal but also star-shaped or in the form of a made-up shape. It is envisaged that the device may be produced in elongate form for direct insertion into the beverage bottle, without the use of a glass.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention is applicable in two fields:

a) Food: specifically that of the application of <ice> to beverages of all kinds (soft drinks, drinks, gazpacho, etc.), but above all and exclusively, for the first time, the ability to cool: beer, champagne and Wine cider

It is about cooling the drinks-drinks through <ice>, but in this case in particular, very specific and special ice.

b) advertising: because it enables a new advertising space-framework;

That will mean a revolution.

-Both one as the other is a novelty worldwide.

STATE OF THE RELEVANT TECHNIQUE

The existing ice in the market - until today - to cool the drinks that are consumed immediately after its elaboration; they are of different shapes and sizes: of figures; with dyes or crystals; but all of them share a function-action defect: that when entering the "existing ice-cube" in direct contact with the drink to be ingested, it is inevitable to water the content of the drink (the ice goes from solid to liquid state) with its corresponding loss of flavor, and possibly; the contamination of the consumer by the bad state of the water, or by ^" cross contamination ^" .

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) -They are also sold in bulk; that when in contact with each other, they almost always stick together, and when hitting or puncturing them to take them off, they splinter; to finally end up deposited in the glass, container or palate. -The biggest problem with these large bags of ice-cubes is that they can never lose the cold chain, causing a brutal energy expenditure; and also no less negligible, contribution to pollution. -The "ice maker" produces ice effectively, but cross contamination occurs (being in contact with the air, tweezers, bucket) and because the ice is in contact with each other, they cake; and can even cause the machine to not work, due to technical problems.

ASSESSMENT OF THE STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE

These products - described in the previous section - are well established in the market; they have been providing an effective but limited solution; since it does not offer a safe sanitary protection.

- Also when liquefying the "traditional ice" with the drink, it is not applicable for certain types of drinks such as beer; champagne; came; Bleeding; etc .. -Both retain the same physical properties.

-As for aesthetics, both options share beauty and elegance, but the new one to be patented has greater visual impact, and more functionalities.

-The "on water-ice-advertising-sealed-sterilized-packaging" stands out for its color and versatility; that frozen or thawed keeps its visibility intact, with a perfect, attractive and harmonious adaptation of the strip, object or advertising piece.

-Of the most notable differences, one is perishable

- when defrosting and liquefying; and the new invention remains intact, even in defrosting, since it is kept in the same way packaged. -It is also reusable or recyclable.

-Traditional ice can pick up odors from the <cold room>.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) EXHIBITION OF THE INVENTION

This is the manufacture of a new product "water-ice advertising in sealed envelope-sterilized-individually packaged".

That it be used to cool all kinds of beverages, which will be consumed, at the time of its elaboration; and that in turn can serve as a poster-claim-advertisement.

This is solved by pumping into a bag: water; And optionally, introducing inside the bag: advertising. -This novel invention will be manufactured in four different modalities, regardless of its size, shape or color:

1) sachet-container of water in liquid state. (You can go with advertising inside).

2) sachet-container of water in solid state. (You can go with advertising inside).

3) sachet-container of water spoon. (You can go with advertising inside).

4) sachet-bottle water bottle. (You can go with advertising inside).

-This is achieved through a unique manufacturing process:

1- The water (liquid state) is packaged vertically (pillow pack type with 3 or 4 seal) in a sachet; With a packing material, type: heat sealable such as polyester, polyethylene, etc.

2- Sterilization (heat-jet steam-chemical liquid) of the first packaging.

3- Again another packaging process (horizontal flow pack, vacuum, inert gas or similar), but this time with another type of wrapping - similar to that of chocolates - more appropriate to keep it isolated from pathogens.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION

The correction of the deficiencies that can be seen in the current ice, and the improvement it entails for the transport and storage of the product.

A) Hygienic-sanitary:

1- By the direct contact of the ice with the air or with appliances:

Ex: tweezers; ice buckets; ice machine; etc.

2- by the direct contact of ice water [which in most countries of the world is dangerous; harmful that alter the taste; and that they are treated with alterable chemicals] with the drink to be ingested.

BILogistic: the currently existing ice; at all times they must maintain the freezing line, for this reason the transport becomes more expensive.

OMEnvironmental environment: since there are times that you lose the cold chain, either due to an electrical problem or due to mechanical failure; that finally all the water contained in traditional ice cubes will be lost-spilled on the floor or some sink.

D) In a way: when the ice is in contact with each other, they stick together and cake; that when they are detached they break into small-scale scales and in many cases lose their original shape (also due to the loss of the cold line);

And finally they end up in the drink, and by extension on the palate.

-It is also curious that the "individual ice bags" are more comfortable when drinking the drinks, because even if you tip the glass, the new product of the invention never touches you-rubs the corner of your lips; because the plastic bag of the invention has a greater friction with the surface of the glass - and among themselves.

In addition, in turn; they protect from the uncomfortable cuts that usually make the traditional ice that slide faster.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) E Product: due to the invention of two new products that have emerged from the applicability of two new practical functions of use:

-There is the precise machinery to manufacture this type of product, it would only be necessary to adapt it to the new technical requirements, which this invention demands. -The final cost or price of the product is very cheap; due to the raw material used, and because it can be manufactured on a large scale in millions of units. -It is mandatory to indicate that it can also be manufactured; transported and stored in solid state (frozen water) but it is not necessary, this case gives it greater elasticity, since the packaging of a solid ice is more adaptable and ductile than with the use of a specialized plastic, and through the same or from another packaging mechanism (under vacuum) it is achieved that even if it loses the freezing line, it retains its original shape.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) EXHIBITION OF AN EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

There are all kinds of machinery for food products that would make the invention very easy, for example:

1 ^to phase (1fig2): automatic packaging machine for liquid products Brand "Gusther" vertical packaging.

They support production days 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In each filling line an average of 18 to 24undxminute would be manufactured.

2nd phase: sterilization machines able to adapt to the needs of the new product: physical method; chemical or thermal

It was installed prior to the 1st phase, a special machine for making ice shapes of figures (6) (objects, letters, logos, etc.).

This would be achieved by attaching to <the ice maker> a <base tray> where the mold (with the shape of a figure (6) that the client wishes to reflect-customize as an advertising-identifying product can be inserted-coupled into it) of the company) that will house the requested design. -The final product will be packed in boxes.

You can cut the freezing process as many times as you want; without affecting the product of the invention (fig. 1,2).

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) It cools in the same way as the <traditional ice we all know; with the difference that the outer wrapper (2) must be previously torn and the beverage dropped - the "advertising ice pack" slipping (1, fig2); and that when they can be manufactured larger in size they cool more (it loses less contact surface with the liquid of the drink (effect of 4.5 united ice).

4 ^to phase: the end product consumption (5,6,7, fig.2) you can:

1- wash and reuse later as many times as you want.

This option is more for homes (private use).

2- store the containers (1) as the bottle hulls, for later collection and return to the factory; which will again be put into circulation after their corresponding sterilization and sanitation process.

This option is more for customers who consume many units; for countries with water shortage problems.

3- deposit it in the plastic recycling container.

-Practical examples of the applicability of the invention: 1 -These are vacations in any place in the world where the quality- water safety and hygienic-sanitary conditions of the country in question are deficient. You find yourself; or, in a restaurant-dining room-bar-pub; or, in a hotel-hostel-residence.

And you decide to have a drink (fig3,4,5) after eating; to avoid contagions and diseases you ask that they serve you the consumption with the ice

special "ice safe travel" (fig1) (trade name of the product), or

directly the establishment provides them in the drink to consume.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) 2-You are in your city on a terrace or in a beach bar with some friends, and you ask for a beer mug (fig7); obviously the beer will get hot and you would like to enjoy it very cold at all times; but without prior knowledge of the invention, you observe that the waiter serves you with an "ice-water bag" (fig2) "ice safe-travel-publicity"; whereupon you are filled with attention, "by killing two birds with one stone"; on the one hand the one to drink the coldest consumption of the habitual thing and more continued in the time; and on the other hand with the publicity (4) of the invention you inform yourself of a disco in the area, festival, hotel, a show, a concert, bazaar, etc.

These "ice safe-publicity" ice carries advertising that at the same time informs them of: <Video games> and also of an institutional message of the department of health and consumption where it advises the good use of alcohol, so that you drink in moderation, and that don't fall for <gender violence>.

I find out in the supermarket that there are ice "ICE SAFE"; and I buy them immediately, for their benefits and out of curiosity.

Indeed I exclaim: wonderful! ; How practical and necessary.

Claims

WATER-ICE WITH ADVERTISING INSIDE WITHIN <SOBRE>

AND ALSO, AS A WORLDWIDE EXCLUSIVITY: TO COOL DRINKS SUCH AS BEER, CHAMPAN, WINE AND CIDER; THROUGH DATE TODAY, IT HAD NEVER BEEN POSSIBLE TO APPLY ICE.

-In addition, as it is logical, it also serves to cool the other existing beverages in the market (water, soft drinks, glasses of alcohol, gazpacho, etc.) that will be consumed after being served.

This "special ice does not liquefy the contents of the drinks.

CHARACTERIZING PART

1 ^a ) The first novelty is the product itself: the manufacture of a sealed envelope (5,6,7fig2) pillow-type stick pack with three or four seals; that inside it contains water - in solid or liquid state - and advertising; which is then sterilized; for later packaging, each unit of product, with a second wrapper-container (2) similar to that of a chocolate bar. This ensures a safe product.

The advertising material that is going to be introduced into the envelope; It is preferable to be plastic, because of its good preservation and because it intensifies the colors. It can be a strip, poster, sheet, photograph, piece, object; or screen printed (4) on the inside of the first container (1).

In the case that is admitted, it is better that the advertising strip (4) is adhered to the edges of the container first (1), taking advantage of the sealing of the envelope seal, and so in this way you get it to remain stretched.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) -The envelope (1, fig2) is composed of a type of packaging material such as <heat sealable> such as polyester, polyethylene or similar.

The system to use, of this first packaging of the product content; it can be the one of <sealed envelope type pillow pack with two, three or four seals.

-In addition to the peculiarity; that after manufacturing the main product of the invention; the product (envelope) will be sterilized (physical method: steam, solution filtration, etc.); and finally it will be packed in a second wrapper (2), which can be of another material such as that of a chocolate wrapper. Another packaging system can also be used: vacuum; vacuum with inert gas; or by the system ["horizontal wrapping flow pack (hffs) of three welds made by a pad type container with level of

high performance; brand "U! ma <atlanta model>". -They can be manufactured in all possible shapes, sizes and colors (fig2).

-This new product behaves in the same way - in terms of its physical properties - than a "normal ice"; but even when it can be manufactured larger, it is possible to keep the cold more, because it has a smaller surface area of contact with the drink to be ingested since a "sachet ice" can replace 3,4,5; and also the bag makes the ice held together - contained within it - which is better.

The final product (5,6,7, fig2) can be compiled in two different ways: a) each unit can be packaged in a single package (2)

This option is more for establishments and public places.

b) can be packaged: more units (fig2) in a single package (2).

This option is more for individuals who are going to use it inside their home.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) 2 ^a ) NOTE: Instead of packing water in a liquid state you can also pack water in a solid state, this option is for when you want to customize the "ice-water-advertising in sealed, sterilized and packaged envelope" with shapes-figures ( 6, fig5), company logos, letters, etc.

It is indicated for dates indicated: commemorations, celebrations. Festivities ... -To make this product two different mechanisms can be used: a) Ice manufacturing: an ice maker that will be installed at the beginning (previous) of the chain (1 ^to phase) of production, to manufacture ice with shapes of figures (6), letters, logo, etc.

This is achieved by adapting to <the ice maker> a <base tray> where a mold with the form requested by the customer (6) (multiplied in several replicas-lines) can be introduced-coupled to manufacture in large runs-quantities.

b) Manufacture in water (in a liquid state): it would be the same method as it already reflected in the descriptive report, but previously available, of the package already configured in the corresponding form-figure.

This type of plastic can be molded with the coupling-stretching-pressure action of a specific plastic on a given mold; that when applying heat or extreme stretching, it stabilizes, adopting a rigid texture that preserves the object-figure, which we want to reflect.

It is obvious to verify that this <plastic action>, in question; it is always done on a mold - which faithfully represents the figure or object

selected-, and which has been previously prepared for that purpose.

Once the container with the corresponding shape-figure is achieved, it will be incorporated on a belt, which will lead it under the water-filled piston pumps, which will then be sealed and continue the same manufacturing process; already described at the beginning of this report.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) -The news regarding its functionality and utility are extraordinary:

3 ^o ) a) as a star product, and for the first time in the world; to be able to cool with ice, drinks such as: beer, champagne, wine, sangria, without being affected in the least the content of the same drink, to ingest; because the product "water-ice advertising in sealed envelope-sterilized-individually packaged" (5,6,7, fig2) does not in any way liquefy the drink, since at all times the water (3) contained in the Sachet (1) does not come into contact with the drink.

And it gives us immense pleasure to be able to taste it very fresh in such a comfortable, helpful and simple way.

b) to serve for advertising campaigns, as a new marketing product, as a souvenir that would increase sales of other products.

4 ^a ) c) the creation of a new framework-advertising space (4fig3,4, 5,6,7) original and creative; with all the advantages and possibilities that this supposes for the sector, and finally and to the apostre for the citizen; since it is a concept of direct advertising. Close, plastic, fun, effective and very visual.

5 ^a ) d) is a product that is manufactured, transported and stored at room temperature>, without the need to maintain a freezing line. DEPENDENT CLAIM

-The exclusive adaptation of the product for a new functions:

6 ^a ) a) Commercial name "ice safe-spoon" (5): "sterilized and packaged water bag (ice cube)" (5) replacing a teaspoon "; which has an elongated and narrow shape, with a slightly longer length, to the length of the vessel-vessel (fig4) where the drink will be served.

The commercialization of "Ice safe-publicity" (fig2) will consolidate in the market a new product to cover an existing social demand, with the purpose of correcting situations that to date have not been resolved by any other known product; for that end. -In this way, with this product, we achieve in an efficient and simple way to open four new ways of commercial development:

A) As a star product and for the first time in the world: being able to cool with ice (5,6,7) drinks such as beer, wine, champagne and sangria quickly and continuously over time, as many times as you want, already that this new bag of sterilized and packaged advertising ice-water (5,6,7, fig2) does not liquefy the drink in water, since when the water is thawed (3) it remains tight inside the inside of the bag (1).

Until now, once this drink was served in the glass (fig3,4,5) there was no way to cool it again; since they are drinks that by supplying them with traditional ice-cubes, they would spoil the consumption, because they do not know well: when the water of the ice that is defrosted and diluted with the rest of the consumption-drink.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) 8 ^a ) B) Be able to consume (whatever they want beverages prepared for immediate consumption) anywhere in the world; without getting any bacteria or pathogens caused by the intake of diluted ice water (currently existing without protection) in the beverage consumed.

It represents a great social advance and a great qualitative leap, in terms of sanitary and world protection of food.

C) A new advertising support (4, fig2) original and creative, in which to reach almost the entire world population; in a direct, efficient, plastic, and ecological way.

9 ^a ) D) It is a product (5,6,7, fig2) reusable and recyclable. To this day, this was unthinkable; due to the volatility with which the <existing traditional ice> succumbs.

The new "water bag (ice cube) always maintains its original form. The expiration date of the invention is not yet determined, but it will be a rather long term; since it is a product not harmful at all:

for its content, and for the materials used for its manufacture. 10 ^a ) Commercial names: "lce safe-publicity", "lce safe-spoon", "Ice safe-bottle", "lce safe-travel ^ e ^ figl ^).

Industrial manufacturing would be worldwide; making this product essential for its great utility and versatility, for any individual that inhabits the planet earth; without making any distinction, neither of race, creed, age, sex or social condition.

-The manufacture of the invention (fig. 1, 2) is very economical, due to its low cost in terms of raw material and manufacturing process.

REPLACEMENT SHEET (Rule 26) -It is manufactured, transported and stored in a liquid state; This gives us a substantial advantage; in terms of energy saving, environmental and strategic factor. The "sterilized liquid water bag (<ice cube>" with advertising inside and packaged "(5,6,7, fig1, 2) can be stored in boxes at room temperature, without losing its qualities, be perishable or change shape.

Anyways; when necessary or convenient, it can be frozen or defrosted as many times as desired, or the occasion is required. -One of the most important keys for the introduction of this new product; it is due to the fact that they can coexist perfectly, with those already existing in the market; since they cover different needs.

-The ideal places and situations, to consume this product (5,6,7, fig1, 2) and become essential, are many: hospitality establishments;

festivals-parties; fairs; congresses; means of transport (aircraft-ships-trains); living place; etc..

-The poster-lamina-advertising strip (4) -preferably plastic- that is inserted into the water bag, may be attached to the ends of the bag; that taking advantage of the sealing of the first packaging; that with the same heat sticks the two plastic (the product and the advertising) at the same time. You can also go the screen printed advertising on the inside of the envelope (1). In order for the container to perpetuate - when defrosting - its initial image, it may be necessary to use another type of plastic and, perhaps, another type of packaging: by stretching, heat or mold to help keep it stable-rigid.
