Abstract
A communication system including a communication apparatus (10) which can be handheld or carried on a person. The apparatus (10) includes the capability to operate as a communications device used in GSM protocol or satellite communications; the capability to operate as a handheld transceiver (walkie talkie); a GPS unit; an RFID; and an accelerometer.
