It should be noted in the following description that like or the same reference numerals in different embodiments denote the same or similar features.
Disclosed herein is a system comprising a consumer
software application is adapted for promoting brand awareness of a business, brand and/or commercial entity via a social media network.
The system, referred to herein as Love My Business, includes a mobile and web responsive application service that allows users to tag or share positive experiences they have had with a product or service to their social media networks, including, for example, FacebookTM,
TwitterTM, InstagramTM, MySpaceTM, PinterestTM, and the like. In particular arrangements, the system may also provide a means for the user to share their experience via an email to a select plurality of the users email
contacts. Once the user has tagged or shared a business that is part of the LMB Product database then the owner of that Business or Product is alerted also. For sharing their experience, the user is rewarded the next time they buy a product or use a service from the same business receiving a discount or gift this offer is sent to the user in real time after they have shared their positive review to their social networks.
Referring to Figure 1 of the drawings, there is shown a flow diagram of a method for implementing a distributed advertising platform on a network of computing devices in accordance with an embodiment. At step 102, a user management module provides a user of the platform with a list of commercial entities via a user interface provided on a user mobile communication device over a communication network. The list of commercial entities is stored in commercial entity registry/database. At step 104, the user management module receives a comment related to a selected commercial entity from the user via the mobile communication device.
At step 106, a comment management module uploads the comment and a preloaded business description associated with the selected commercial entity to one or more social media pages associated with one or more social media accounts of the user.
At step 108, a rewards management module awarding the user with a reward associated with the selected commercial entity.
The platform allows a user to: select a business, brand and/or commercial entity, the business, brand and/or commercial entity being registered with a central brand registry; and provide means for the user to enter a comment relating to an experience with the business, brand and/or commercial entity. The platform is adapted share the user' s comment among the user' s social media
connections on one or more social media networks; and also to providing the user with a reward for sharing of their experience with the business, brand and/or commercial entity. The reward is provided by the business or
commercial entity about whom the user's comment was about. For example if the business was a coffee shop, and a customer of the coffee shop has an experience that they chose to share with their social media network, then the coffee shop would provide the user with a reward, for example a free beverage (e.g. coffee) or alternatively a discount of their next purchase at the coffee shop. In preferred arrangements, the business would provide the reward to the user in real time. For example, after sharing an experience about a particular business, the system 100 alerts the business that a positive experience about their establishment has been shared. The business may then authorise system 100 to provide the user with a reward. The system 100 may provide the reward in real¬ time, such that the user receives a notification via system 100 on their mobile computing device that a reward associated with the particular business has been awarded. The software application may store a collection of such rewards within the application. A user may redeem a particular reward on their next visit to the business. For example, when redeeming a reward, the user may scan, using a barcode or QR code scanning option (available within the software application) a reward code made available by the business. On scanning the reward code, the application software associates the business details obtained by the scanned information with an available reward with that business, and marks the reward in the application software as being redeemed.
The reward is being offered to the users by the businesses may be immediately issued to the user on confirmation that the user has shared an experience with a particular business with their social media networks via the system 100. The business may provide the server system with a particular reward or plurality of rewards, any one of which may be automatically offered to users without further interaction by the business or their
representative with each individual experience posting by each user.
The particular advantages of the platform for the business are that the platform allows feedback to the
business/commercial entity of the number and frequency of user experiences being shared and also details of the rewards issued to users and the percentage of rewards that are redeemed by the users. Accordingly, the system provides valuable feedback on the business' consumer base and enables the business to track improvements in the positive experiences received by their customers when interacting with their business. Such information is undoubtedly invaluable to the marketing efforts of the business.
Figure 2 shows an initial signup registration interface for the platform for a commercial entity 201 and for a user 251. Interface 201 is used by a commercial entity to create a profile and register for LMB service. The
business may upload a logo 203 and select a payment plan to subscribe to the platform from a list of payment plans 205. The business/commercial entity can also upload a series of business details, incudes a description to be shared on social media together with user's comments 207.
Interface 251 is provided on a user mobile communication device via a mobile and web based application. The user & business can sign-up to the LMB platform by providing details 253 and /or linking their personal social network accounts 255.
There is also a separate native efptos application that will be accessed in real time for businesses via an efptos tablet. A consumer can locate, post a business' s details to their social networks and receive and redeem rewards and update their profile in real time in their desktop or mobile device. A business can change their business details, upload a new offer, see in real time what rewards have been offered to whom and when they have been redeemed by whom they can also delete comments made by users on their mobile device in real time so they do not appear in the description of their business in the business
directory.
Referring now to figure 3 there are shown different schematic interfaces of the user mobile application.
Interface 302 provides the user with a list of
businesses/commercial entities in the proximity of the user's for selection. After the user selects a business, the user can provide a comment related to the experience the user had at the business using interface 304. The user' s comment and a preloaded description of the
business/commercial entity with a URL are posted on multiple social media platform in real time. One of the social media interfaces is schematically shown as interface 306. The user is then prompted with an interface 308 for selection of a reward at the business/commercial entity, for example a free coffee.
Figures 4 shows a schematic architecture of a system in accordance with embodiments 400.
The system is a fully integrated automated system made up by a series of modules that operate in synergy to provide a unique automated effective tool delivering real time data analytics 405, a rewards management programme 403, a business directory and an advertising platform with a full backend sales, accounting and admin function to support it.
The business entity uploads their business profile
information and business offers. The user uploads their profile details and connects their social networks.
This information is passed to every module in figure 4 and results in a rich CRM programme that interconnects
consumer activity and data to business details and offers in real time via user management module 413, business management module 415 and the reviews management module 411.
All information in the system is also stored in the admin panel 401 which has a dashboard that contains all data and can provide reports in various denominations in real time or in a specified period as requested by the
administrator .
The user experience and the business experience goes back and forth from the devices they operate on namely efptos 421, mobile 423 and web 419 based interfaces and takes that information and delivers it to the other modules. This is enabled via the Data Analytics Module 405 to provide information that allows us to deliver deep
analytics that the business can access on their dashboard and in turn communicate with their customers/users in a more targeted way by e-mail text or SMS, research
questions etc. via the information continuously collated and updated over any specified period of time. Each registered business will automatically be issued with its own user profile associated with system 100, enabling the ability for the business to upload a photo and brief description of the business, and to define or update their reward offers, which are provided to consumers in real time by e-mail and into their rewards account area of the software application when they share an experience of the interaction with the business with the socially networks by the software application.
A user logged into the software application of system 100 on their mobile computing device, may locate and tag a registered business within the software application either via integration with a GPS device associated with their mobile computing device and proximity location of
registered businesses within eight predefined radius of the user's present geographical location. Alternatively the user may search for a particular business via a lookup directory provided by the software application. The user may enter into a provided input field a brief description of their interaction with the selected business or
commercial entity. Once the user has completed the description of their experience they are provided with an option to share their experience with the social media networks and may be offered an option to pre-select a set of social media networks the user decides to share their experience with. For example, the user may be registered in social networks including Facebook, Twitter and
Instatgram, but the user may however only choose to share the experience with their Facebook acquaintances. If the user is unable to locate a particular business or
commercial entity within the application software, this would indicate that the business is not registered with the system 100. In this case the system may be adapted to prompt the user for details of the particular business they are searching for, including contact details of the business, and the system may be adapted to send a
notification to the particular business that a user would like to share a positive experience about the interaction with the business and prompt them to register with the system 100 and to receive such social media exposure that a submitted experience would achieve for the business.
Referring now to figure 6 there is shown a schematic interfaces of a commercial entity dashboard in accordance with embodiments.
Once a business has registered, they are directed to their own personal business entities dashboard. Here they set up their business profile where they can upload their
business logo and business description within a specified number of characters so it fits all templates for
participating networks (600) . The business can also upload business offers 603 which is seen and redeemed in real time by consumers via their web and mobile consumer interface. The dashboard also provides an interchangeable interface 605 which shows the results of data provided in interfaces 607, 609, 611 and 613 in real time.
In the analytics interface 607 a business can find a list of users who loved the business, when they loved the business, what rewards the customer received and when a reward is redeemed, and a profile of the customers and their demographics: picture, age, sex, postcode etc.
A business can edit their business details (609); verify reviews (611); send an e-mail through an e-mail portal with full functionality to anyone who ever loved their business (613) . A business can type an SMS and send it to their customers by name post code reward redeemed or reward on offer (614) .
Referring now to figure 7 it shows a method for providing aggregated information to a commercial entity on the dashboard in accordance with embodiments.
