Rhubarb Festival: Warrensburg Riverfront Farmer’s Market

Spring is finally blooming up here in the Adirondacks and we are so excited by all the events going on after this memorial weekend. Not doing anything today, head over to the Rhubarb Festival taking place at the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmer’s Market this Friday, June 3, 2022 from 3 – 6 pm.

WHAT CAN YOU FIND

Locally grown rhubarb stalks and plants sold. Information on how to grow and prepare rhubarb provided by Warren County Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners. Be sure to bring your favorite rhubarb dish for all to taste and win a prize. There will also be music in the gazebo.

WHERE: On the banks of the scenic Schroon River in the Warrensburgh Mills Historic District on River Street (NYS Route 418) near Curtis Lumber.

CAN’T MAKE IT THIS FRIDAY?

While you might miss out on the rhubarb, the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmer’s Market is held every Friday afternoon from Memorial Day weekend through the end of October from 3-6pm.

At the Warrensburgh Riverfront Farmer’s Market you can find locally grown, raised and prepared products including produce, plants, cut flowers, dairy, poultry, meats, maple syrup, honey, wine, preserves, baked goods and refreshments.

Come out and support your local community, buy some rhubarb for your canning and pie making endeavors. Purchase some fresh produce by your local farmers and get to know your neighbors in a different part of the Adirondacks this summer.
