SOG's original Pentagon was a longtime favorite fixed blade that was designed as a back-up for Law Enforcement Officers. In 2021, SOG has brought back the Pentagon family after refining and testing the design with uniformed professionals who perform their jobs under some of the most demanding conditions. The Pentagon FX is fully customizable to meet the demands of various missions, and purposefully designed to exceed expectations.
The spear-point, full-tang, double edge blade is CRYO S35VN at 58-61 Rc. This American-made steel contains vanadium and niobium carbides that provide high degrees of toughness and wear resistance. The 4-3/4" blade has a black titanium nitride coating. The Black or Flat Dark Earth G10 handles are removable for a slimmer and lighter profile.
The matching GRN sheaths are equipped with SOG's next-generation Universal Mounting System which provides several methods, or positions, of carry. Measures 9-3/4" overall. Weighs 6.7 oz. Made in Taiwan. Suggested retail is $277.95.
