BLAZZED PLUS ALL-IN-ONE FUNCTIONAL TRAINER CABLE CROSSOVER CAGE HOME GYM W/ SMITH MACHINE

I bought this on Black Friday deal. It was about 2500$. After a 2-day assembly (the manual was well put together and offered clear instructions with bolts/nuts being properly organized. I can say that this machine is commercial grade level. Everything works as of the moment of writing this article. There are some key things to discuss though.

The Good:

Functionality: This device definitely offers everything needed from cables, smith machine, adjustability, storage, offered in a smaller than typical package. I really like the space I gained from replacing my two old cages (one of which was a half rage cage, and the other a smith machine cage). The quality of the parts also were of high quality material. The pulley system was and is superb, especially with its dynamic adjustability on the front cage pillars. The smith bar is currently my favorite thing on the cage, it glides with extremely minimal noise, and feels solid from left and right points (there is no jiggle or movement from side to side with this). It is a very heavy machine, once it was in place, it does not shift or move at all. I've had no issues re-racking my own Olympic bars with 300+ lbs. of weight and having the machine shift in any direction.

Utility: There is plenty of storage from the Olympic weight racks, and the two storage racks placed at the back of the machine, this was useful for bands, handles, attachments for cables, and many more. The foot plate for low-pulley rows is hidden on the left front leg, and very minimally lies flat on the ground but offers great advantage during the lifts.

Needs Improvement:

The cables: Here's where we get into some nit and gritty. The cables function great but needed some tweaking on my own. The cables were slightly longer than the dimensions of the pulley system which had some drag and slack that needed to be adjusted. Once this was done, the cable machine felt phenomenal. This could have been a bad batch of cables, but it was an easy fix.

The Selector Shaft: I've left some images here, with regards to these rods. These rods need to be exactly 1 inch spaced in order to properly allocate weight selection for the pulley. Unfortunately the two rods I received were off by a few centimeters and that resulted in the spacing between the holes on the selector shaft increasing ever so slightly to the point that once inserted in the pulley system you could not select weight about 7 plates downward. I had to go out to my local machinery shop and had two selector shafts crafted with a more accurate hole length precision. This cost me about 100$, so nothing too steep but definitely a portion of the machine BlazzadFitness should really look at for improvement. If this and the cable length were fixed, this would undoubtedly be the best machine for the price on the market.

All in all, I give this machine a 5/5 for Functionality and Utility, and I give it a 4/5 for Pulley Cable System(this includes the faulty selector shaft, as it was a relatively easy fix for me).
