booby’s bay to mother ivey’s bay

its the end of september and yet it feels like summer – i am fortunate to have the warm weather on my few days here in cornwall.  each time i come i experience a new walk or town, only reinforcing what beautiful landscapes we have in the uk.  the walk over the hilltop from booby’s bay to mother ivey’s beach is stunning, with dramatic coves, steep drops and wild grasses.

with its clear blue waters,  mother ivey’s bay makes you feel as though you were somewhere tropical.  the slate rock formations are just stunning. there is also a mobile home and caravan park directly overlooking the beach – maybe fun to rent one.
