About: Avicularia metallica is an absolutely gorgeous fuzzy arboreal tarantula. It has iridescent shades of blues and greens over its entire body. It is also known as Avic avic M6. Their natural habitat is very warm and humid, they do well at warmer room temperatures and with high ventilation, but also require good ventilation to thrive. They need an arboreal setup with cork tubes and foliage to hide on and in. This species will web it's enclosure with tunnels and hammocks, generally filling the top area. a front opening enclosure is suggested as not to destroy their webbing when opening the tank.
