Benazir Bhutto (June 21, 1953 - December 27, 2007)
Bhutto was a Pakistan politician who served as prime minister from 1988 to 1990. In 1988, when the first free elections were held, Bhutto became the youngest Prime Minister at the age of 35. She was also the first woman to serve as prime minister in an Islamic Country. Bhutto also initiated anti- corruption campaigns and in 1993 she was re-elected as Prime minister. As a prime minister she brought electricity to the countryside, built schools, made hunger, housing, and healthcare her top priority. Most of her efforts were to modernize Pakistan.
