Taylor Momsen suspended from ‘Gossip Girl’: report

“Gossip Girl” actress Taylor Momsen has been suspended from the hit show, Deadline.com reported Tuesday.

The 17-year-old’s wild girl off-screen antics have reportedly prompted an “indefinite hiatus” following next Monday’s episode of the New York-based soap.

Momsen, billed as a series regular, already had her scenes cut to three episodes this fall and her character Jenny will be absent for at least four episodes beginning with the show’s midseason finale on Dec. 6, according to Deadline sources.

Representatives for the CW network and producer Warner Bros. declined to comment, but sources confirmed to Deadline that the peroxide blonde was leaving for good.

Momsen, also a singer with rock band Pretty Reckless, attracted criticism from “Project Runway’s” Tim Gunn, who played mentor to Momsen’s character in an episode last month.

Gunn told E! News, “What a diva. She was pathetic, she couldn’t remember her lines and she didn’t even have that many. I thought to myself, ‘Why are we being held hostage by this brat?'”

Momsen, a star since the age of seven after appearing in “How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” has recently attracted attention for her verbal attacks on fellow stars including Miley Cyrus and Rihanna.
