Androgynous model Andrej Pejic turned up 90 minutes late to a party for his own jewelry collaboration with Sam H Snyder Design at Gilded Lily on Thursday.
A handler for Pejic, whose collection will help benefit homeless LGBTQ youth charity Ali Forney Center, explained the model was late because he “has to make an entrance.” A different rep for Pejic said, “I have no doubt that was said in jest. Andrej is not like that.”
Pejic, who attended in a leather bra, models men’s and women’s clothing.
