Boerewors & Pap

Ingredients
  

  • Maize Meal/Corn meal
  • Boerewors South African sausage
  • Tomatoes
  • Onions
  • Garlic and ginger
  • Mixed veg – carrots cauliflower and broccoli

Gravy

  • tomatoes
  • onion
  • garlic
  • ginger
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Salt and pepper

Pap

  • 2 c water
  • 1 TSP salt
  • 1 c maize

Boerewors

    Instructions
     

    Gravy

    • Skin tomatoes and chop in pieces
    • Cut onions, garlic and ginger
    • 2 tsp of oil in a pot and fry onions until soft, add garlic and ginger, stir for a minute
    • add tomatoes, salt and pepper.

    Pap

    • Boil the water add 1 tsp salt. Add maize meal little bit at a time until the right texture.  Cover the pot and cook in low heat.

    Boerewors

    • Fry for until cooked
      Veggies
      Boil until done about 4 minutes
