Pages crisp and clean, though modestly toned throughout; stapled binding is rust-stained, but secure; cover has some foxing and dust-spotting around the outside edges, some small scuff marks at the left front, mild surface rubbing, radiant creases along the spine, and some edge and corner wear, but remains overall bright and attractive. 34pp. Several short fiction pieces, reader-submitted jokes, a gossip column, with an unusual-for-this-publication balance of suspense and surprise-ending items. "Frivol" was among the many campus humor magazines flourishing across the country in its time; this magazine was under the management of Sigma Delta Chi, the professional journalism fraternity, and ran from 1919-1951, usually publishing seven issues per year.
