Schaller & Weber Knackwurst. Traditional German sausage smoked over natural hardwood.

This is basically a fat, fully cooked German sausage that looks and tastes like a hot dog, and it tastes very good. The only problem with it, is the amount of salt: Sodium 750mg per one link (3.8 oz./108g). If you are on a low sodium diet for high blood pressure or other reasons, you may want to cut it up into slices, boil it on the stove, and pour out the water after it has had a chance to boil out the salt. For those of us who can handle the salt, just warm it up, add some sauerkraut and sweet German mustard, and enjoy!

They left the store on their way to a lady who hadn’t had one of her delicious childhood favorites in a long time….but sadly by the time they arrived, they were beyond cool, they were WARM. They were extremely expensive because of the supposed elaborate packing-it did not suffice. Tried to contact the company several times to no avail. I was ripped off royally. I feel foolish and poor🥲
