Midcentury design by Dario Tognon for Artemide. Straight out of 1969! This designclassic is so emblematic for the period it was designed. The curvey design, the fact that base and diffuser smoothly go over in one another. The strength of the backside ‘spine’. The new production method of casting aluminium… all very progressiveness resulting in a beautiful design. Item is in a nice vintage condition. It has an E27 fitting for a lightbulb and a switch on the electric cord. There are a few scratches on the top (see pics) that might be easily restored. The plug is damaged but fully functional.
