Stopped by MM with the intent of picking up some figs in their marchmadness sale.....bought other stuff instead

12 zombicide zombivors, the zombie version of the 12 figures from Rue Morgue. They have already been primed and are now drying. Also picked up some sort of basing sand $2, and 5 more paints at $2 each. There were some other items on the shelf that i passed on, like Star Wars Armada starter sets, one was 50% off and the other was 60%off due to box damage. Saw some other interesting items, but nothing screaming buy me.

EditL Painted up 3 more survivors, well 2 survivors and a Zombivor.

Shannon the head shaved girl and dude with a baseball bat to start (can't remember his name)

Starting to feel an itch to scratch build......and buy a ton of stuff from the MM march madness sale. When I say a ton, I'm taking 100+ miniatures . I keep hoping someone wlse buys them first.

Slight detour by Miniaturemarket.......again. I cleared them out of the Alkemy Triad booster boxes. 13@2.50 each=65 figures for Kings of War.

39 archers, 26 spearpersons. I already have some of these figures (very crisp details), but I think the new ones I'll be painting green and using in a Herd army that I'm devising using the rest of my Alkemy figures to build up. I'm thinking more of a mixed army of mainly humans with the beasts being the spirit beasts that the humans evolve into. Even though these are more Asian styled I think they can become more like a nomadic native american indian culture. Need to work on the totem poles concept next.

Huh. Neat. TGI don't live as close to MM as Theo... The hold order system is bad enough, proximity would destroy me.

Thanks Guys,

My wife is a beautiful woman who doesn't ask too many questions, mostly because she wouldn't like the answer.

I had an itch.....so it was time to scratch.......build. It's been a while, and might not live up to expectations, but here's a first look.

I'll entertain guesses.......Animal, Vegetable or Mineral

Good to see some scratch-building again.

Nice try Dr. H, But this is no mere wooden hut
The next piece of the puzzle.

an outhouse????? Nope

and why would a roof tilt up on a wooden hut unless stuff goes inside of it?

But what insidiousness would lurk inside of this beast ready to jump out and take a castle by storm?

And to my eternal shame, I forgot about the MP&tHG reference. It's just that I see Britons make many a reference to badgers, and never knew why.

Theo, instead of doors, just build ramps that drop down drawbridge style.

Well it's kind of like a hut, just not up to your or Grimdorks hut/cabin quality. THe sticks are cheap enough that I might try and build a hut or twelve.

I don't think it will breath fire, it might float in water though, but i'll have to see if it weighs as much as a duck.

Well student loans are happening now, so the buying will cease for the most part. I will eventually get ALL of those. With the KOW rules I could easily see that being the core of an army.

Damnit Theo, why did you go and buy up all the Alkemy triad boxes? I liked being able to buy 2-3 every time I made an order Now I will never be able to play 3000 point games of Ronin!

Well in my defense they were on that silly march madness sale, I asked them how many they had and they had 40. The next morning I stopped by again after deciding to buy 20 of them and they only had 13 left, so I bought what I could. So you can only blame me for 1/3 of the total items being bought

They had 5 more on the shelf in the dinged and dented section, I'm going to see if they'll match the price from the sale tomorrow and possibly pick them up too.

YEah, I think I need a restraining order from them I wish it had been in place this morning

I missed the KS, but I just got a deal on the box set at Miniature Markets brick and mortar retail store (it's 2 miles from my home).

60% off because of box damage.

corner of the box was damaged, but only damage done inside was to the cardboard that surrounds the boardgame tiles.

It will be a while before I get on these.
