When I bought this, like I am sure lots of people have, was extremely worried about the quality of the item given its reputation and the brand. However, after using this item for a bit I can honestly say it was a great buy. Battery won't last more than two hours and you have to make sure you turn off the item after plugging it in in order to charge it properly. But otherwise, its well worth the money spent. camera is not gonna be the best in the industry, but it works great. Its easy to use in every regard except for setting calendar and clock. The former which starts you off at 1980 and forces you to cycle through every month till you get to proper year. And the latter is hard to get it right. But otherwise, touchscreen works and so does external speaker. Overall, I'd venture to say the refurbished ones are better than the new ones being that their factory inherited flaws would seem to have been fixed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a neat looking mp3 with good features. be gentle with the earbud port as if you knock it around too much it could stop working. Otherwise, I love it. The battery will not last more than an hour and a half to two hours. I solved this by including a Viivant portable charger which will keep it up and running for more than 12 hours (probably longer). It is not very easy to use but for the price I cannot complain as it does what I want it to. I cannot figure out how to make it change to the next item on the playlist however. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

For some reason the battery doesn't last long at all..maybe an hour? Probably just a defective unit but I wish I had spent extra on a much better unit. Charging takes a long time. The software included with the unit is crap IMO. Bee careful with the format button..it will erase everything (incl. software) and it takes a LONG time to complete. It does play videos really well and sounds good, too. But it is a cheap unit and I would advise buying a different brand name model instead. There's a reason Coby doesn't make these any longer.
Touch screen is a little slow also this player needs more memory it is a bit slow, get what you pay for, also the battery life is only an hour to an hour and 1/2.other than that it does sound great.

Works! I don't care for the length of the battery life. A good charge last about 4 hours. For the price it is a very good device. I listen to audio books, that function is awesome. I've downloaded a few movies, and even though the screen is a bit small the sound is good with either earbuds or head phones. Overall like I said, for the price it is a good buy.
